Easy to assemble and install. Product does not come with any adhesive so we used double stick tape to attach to our garage light fixture. Birds would sit on a light fixture above my car and have massive diarrhea from time to time on my car. They would mostly bomb my car after I wash it. We all know how frustrating it is when you just wash your car and a bird takes a dukey on it. Since installing I haven’t had any bird poop problems. We will buy more for our other light fixtures in our garage.

We probably won't use these because they are really long spikes. We wanted them because the birds are seeking shelter under our new pergola but I don't like the look of the super long prongs. So I will try to repurpose them to something else and use carpet tack strips for this project instead (that's your helpful hint)

Keeps it's from nesting on outside lights. Use good double sided tape. These don't bend easy for non straight use areas.

This product worked as advertised. I used it to prevent birds from building nests on our downspouts under the eaves. Heads up, the description implies that it comes with zip ties and glue to attach. You have to purchase these separately.
