These are much less expensive than the manufacturer and they work nearly the same. Easy to program.NOTE: While I appreciate the instructions they include, my garage opener was much easier to program. I recommend using the manual or searching for the directions to add a remote to your particular model of opener. For my fairly new, yellow learn button, sec 2.0, Liftmaster, it was simply a matter of pressing the learn button on the opener, holding the button on the remote for 3ish seconds until the opener clicked, and it was done.Cons: The only little downside to these is that it seems you need to hold the button for 2-3 seconds to operate the door. I'm using these as extra remotes, so that's fine. But it does make it a little harder to open the door part-way, which we do often to just get some air.

I bought a new truck that does not have a built in remote. We have never used the handhelds that came with the garage door opener. There was no way I could find them all these years later and after a major house remodel. I ordered these to replace it after making sure my "learn button" was one of the acceptable colors. When the box came, I couldn't believe how tiny these are. It makes it so easy to put somewhere in the truck out of sight. Training them was super easy. Just make sure that your sensors aren't blocked when you do it. I accidentally left a tub of stuff just a tiny bit in the way after getting the ladder to reach the opener. It took me a while to figure out why the programming wasn't working. These are great remotes. Buy them with confidence.

Very easy to program. Only hiccup was when I programmed the 2nd one and skipped the step they specifically tell you not to skip 🤣. Very good range. However, took off one star because it is VERY hard to get the cover off to change the battery. I was not able to do it without gouging the plastic. Not too big a deal for me as I bought these just as a backup.
