Brilliant for ‘Badly Bleached Blonde’ Gone Wrong Orange Hair
I was supposed to take a ‘before’ picture - then I forgot, I was so so upset about my pale orange hair. And I do mean it was orange! I dried my hair slightly after washing and then applied. I left it on for 30/40 minutes. It didn’t dry it out and I have very very fine baby hair. In fact it seemed to have conditioned it. The result was brilliant. Not a great colour obviously - I need to get my hair lightened by someone who knows what they are doing! But my hair didn’t and doesn’t look orange, more of a medium ash blonde. If I pluck up the courage to get my hair colour out right, I will have to wash my hair until all of this toner is out and I will then leave photos. Please do note, this is for ORANGE shading, NOT BRASSY. It’s Blue for orange tones. It’s Purple for brassy tones. I will add this isn’t 100% blue. I would call the colour a blue/dark purple. It does the job though.

Fab taking out brassy orange and super soft hair!
I love this product, I was recommended this and although pricey it's better than other blue/purple shampoo. Make sure hair isn't dripping wet and leave on for at least 10 mins. My hair is really soft and healthy. Very happy

Removed yellow tones, not a noticeable difference though
Given how expensive this product is, I was expecting it to be a miracle worker and give me delightful ash blonde locks! It has definitely removed the yellow tones giving a slightly softer look, but not hugely noticeable. It was expensive, but I figured cheaper than going to the salon to get it toned, I used a third of a bottle (maybe I didn't use enough and that's why there's not a huge difference? See third pic)Regardless, I'm pleased, it smells lovely and my hair doesn't feel damaged. Will buy again for sure!

Colour improvement
This really does what it says. I recently has my hair dyed blonde. It was staring to look tinny and brass like. This has made it look shiny, healthy and more blonde.

GREAT IF YOU WANT PURPLE HAIR!
this was one of my more expensive mistakes. I thought for the price of £29+ it would work so much better than the cheaper ones I have tried. At almost 2 or 3 times more expensive it gave the same results = PURPLE HAIR. The product details promised it would not leave a purple colour but would turn the yellow-blonde a lovely silvery colour WRONG! PURPLE, PURPLE, PURPLE, nothing but purple. 'spose its better than yellow but I am not happy!

Removed most orange tones
I still had some brassiness but this got me through until I could put something more permanent on my hair. It removed around 80% of the orange brassiness.

Fabulous top coat toner
My wife has highlighted hair and tries to keep it nice and fresh by using these types of products to help extend the time between highlights to prevent more damage being done to her hair. She loves Purolgy products and will say 100% that it is worth the cost for the great results given. Now she has long hair so it doesn't last along as claimed but I would still say for the average length hair that it would be correct. This is a high gloss topcoat that gives you a lot of shine and softness and getting away the unwanted brassy tones by using the infamous purple tones. It features a precision nozzle which is an absolute must since this is a very watery product which benefits you when working it through your hair. It is Infused with oat milk and camellia oil and has an aromatic blend of rose, floral ginger and cedarwood.

Subtle toning, gentle on hair, smells great
Pureology met my expectations for this price point. It is not a hair dye or a regular toner, so don't expect a huge difference. The difference is subtle and is slightly visible on light hair. It is not advertised to work on darker hair, so I did not have any expectations in that regard. My blonde highlights were ashier than they were before applying the product, which is what I wanted. What surprised me the most is how soft my hair was after this application. I had put a tiny amount of conditioner (and rinsed it) before applying Pureology Top Coat - probably 4-5 times less than what I normally apply on my hair. The instructions say to apply a conditioner after this top coat if needed. I did not apply any and my hair was softer than it normally is with a regular amount of conditioner. I loved how smooth and soft my hair felt after this product. The scent is amazing. I found it a bit watery, but that made it easier to apply it evenly. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it is a bit on a pricier side. However, compared to how much it would cost you to use a regular toner, this is most likely a better deal.

Does what its supposed to!
Pros:- A top coat for your hair to keep it looking fresh and healthy- Works quickly, gets rid of unwanted brassiness/ yellow tones- Easy to use, use with your shampoo- Restores softness and shine- I don't have to lighten my hair as often anymoreI noticed a huge difference in my hair after using this toner, it does an amazing job at removing the brassiness/ yellow tinge to dyed blonde hair that is growing out. I started lightening my hair at home due to COVID, I can't stand having to wear a mask for hours while having to breathe in hair salon chemicals. I use this toner a couple weeks after I lighten my hair, it helps my natural dirty blonde hair blend with my dyed light blonde hair, no more stripes. This toner works quickly, it got rid of the brassiness almost instantly. I am very pleased with this product! It makes my hair super soft and keeps my hair looking great, I find I don't have to lighten my hair as often anymore.

Disappointing
This color toner actually made my hair feel dryer! And it fell out quite a bit, too. The color of the toner was nice, but not worth what it did to my hair. I wouldn't use it again.

Pureology at its finest.
This is a good at-home treatment option for removing brassy tones. The product expertly made my hair softer, shinier and brighter.I consider it as the next step after the purple shampoo treatment.I believe that I get what I pay for, so I think that the product is reasonably priced for what it does.A silicone-free formula or at least a formula with water-soluble silicones would be much appreciated. The smell is pleasant.
