Not a single boil over since I’ve used this product. I haven’t explored why/how it works, but it does work.I highly recommend.

If you have trouble with water boiling over onto the heating element, when cooking pasta or other foods, this item is for you.Just put the disk into the water and relax.Not recommended for cooking soups or stews.

Anyone that loves to cook will love these. I found out about them from a friend of mine and I thought “let me try this. Sounds cool.” Works amazing.
