Grandpa Soap Co- Witch Hazel (4.25 oz) by The Grandpa Soap Company

Purchased this product because it appeared to have natural ingredients in the sellers list. Unfortunately, what is not mentioned is sodium palmate and sodium palm kernelate derivatives of palm oil. I will not be using this soap do to these ingredients (already consigned to the bin) the amount of orangutan homeland that has disappeared due to this wretched palm is dreadful. I will ONLY use products/food etc., with the RSPO logo - a sustainable palm oil product.

I ordered the witch hazel grandpa soap because the pine tar soap my husband uses has such a strong scent. The witch hazel did not disappoint. The scent is really light. My favorite thing about this soap is when you rinse off you're not left with a residue on your skin! Also, I am so sensitive to what I put on my skin, I will breakout with a rash. So I've used the same bar soap for over 20 years. This is the first bar soap that I've been able to use besides j*****s that has not caused a reaction on my skin!

I used the "old" Grandpa Witch Hazel soap that didn't contain lavender and smelled clean and was great. Now with the formula change, it isn't the same soap at all. It's okay. Grandpa's soaps are basic and natural and I like them, but Witch Hazel was my favorite by far. Miss it.

Smells really good straight out of the box, but after the first use no aroma remains. It works, it's soap, but it doesn't have any smell at all.

Smell is great, has helped to even out the redness on my face. I've tried Grandpas Thylox sulfur soap for my acne and it works great however it drys my skin out badly as the sulfur in the soap causes the layers of skin to flake to prevent bacteria build up. So I wanted to try a more mild soap that wouldn't dry my skin out, it doesn't moisturize my skin but it has helped even my skin tone and the ingredients are all natural good for the environment and for my body!
