Multi Port USB Splitter, 7 in 1 USB 2.0 Hub with High Speed Individual ON/Off Switches with LEDs USB Hubs

This is one of those items you didn't know you needed. A recent expansion in the number of external USB3 devices I have left me 'one port too short'. This item solved that instantly and is well built, I like the individual switches which help to save computer resources. I was 'wary' of the effect (or non-effect) on file transfer speeds however there was no noticeable change in any of my data transfers. I operate three external drives (I'm a radio broadcaster) and the 'need for speed' is important to me. None of my external drives are SSD's (though I have a WD Elements 1GB which thinks it is, by that it can match any SSD I've ever used) so connecting that when needed also showed no slow down of data. In short, then, a fabulous simple device which is just amazing, nothing less.

No dislikes. No more swapping and scrabbling behind PC . Separate switches for each socket. Bonus - just happens to slot nicely into my PC stand.

Only one shortcoming was that there was not enough power supplied to the device to power my external hard-drive, that one had to be plugged directly to the PC. Some USB hubs come with a supplementary direct-to-socket power source that connects you to the mains but this lacks that. But it powers all of my other devices just fine and overall I have no issues. I made the purchase because the price was especially good for a hub with seven ports, and I find myself needing to occupy all seven.

I always need extra USB sockets, this fits the bill perfectly.

This product has stopped working 2 months after I purchase it. The connection from the hub to the laptop had become extremely loose. I don’t know how as the hub just sits on my desk and doesn’t more of gets unplugged. Now every few minutes it disconnects. Not worth the money.

Straight forward plug and play so to speak. Good value for money.

This is a super piece of kit. It has made it possible for me to setup my new computer way quicker than I expected. Have given it a try out in terms of workload and complexity of task. IT works without fault. If it lasts well this will be a stellar product.

Pour le produit je le trouve bas games comme qualité , il est fait de plastique cheep. Je trouve que j'ai payé un peut trop pour sa qualité . Mes pour sa fonction , ces un 100% il fonctionne bien.

J'avais fais l'erreur de prendre le 2.0, mais avec le 3 ça va il n'y a pas de perte de puissance; mon ventilateur reste optimal.
