Q: How do you get the stains off the pizza stone?

Stoneware is suppose to 'season' over time. It will darken to a very dark brown, enhancing it's nonstick capabilities & overall performance. You can hurry this along by either baking something very greasy like cookies or just rubbing the surface with some oil & baking empty for awhile on a higher heat. Only clean stones with very hot water and a scraper or stiff plastic spatula by 'pushing' any food off the surface & rinsing. It should be removed pretty easily, especially as it darkens over time. NEVER use soaps unless you want soap flavored food! If something bad gets on your stone, you can rub on a paste of baking soda & water. Or place it in the sink, sprinkle on baking soda & pour some vinegar over it to really get down into the pores. Though these are always advertised for pizza, they are great for anything you want to bake! Your crescent rolls will cook through without overcooking on the bottom!

Q: Can this stone take 800 F in temperature?

First cook I did 500° second cook 700° And no issues with the stone at those temps.

Q: Whats the size of both stone n peel?

The part of the peel that pizza sits on is 10" x 11 3/4. so you can only make a 10" pizza on the peel.

Q: do you need to preheat the pizza stone before you bake the pizza on it?

Recommended to heat most stones 1 hour.
