The media could not be loaded. I have no complaints! I purchased the 840 G6 and it has been amazing. It did not come with the sticker 😂 I added that. No complaints and I think it was work the price. I had a work computer like this a few years back and I liked it so much that that’s why I purchased this for myself. The battery life lasts long for me and so far it hasn’t frozen on me. Sound quality is good and it runs and operates excel, word, PowerPoint, all the above. Would purchase again!

This laptop arrived really fast with all the bells and whistles and cosmetically in great shape. The screen and keyboard, touchpad and deck were flawless. The OS was loaded correctly with the proper disk partitioning including UEFI boot partition and Recovery partition. After registering the new OS and adding a couple of HP tools, BIOS update and drivers, I was up and running in less than a half hour. The HP UEFI Diagnostics did not turn up any problems or errors, as did a couple of other 3rd party test tools I used. The Born-On date shows this unit was a little over 2 and a half years old. The Vendor on this renew was very responsive to questions I had about the unit prior to purchasing and was already willing to stand behind the unit before I even bought it. That along with the Amazon 90 day renewed laptop guarantee made this a pretty easy purchase. I have purchased other renewed laptops in the past and can tell you that not every unit sold will have all the bells and whistles however the description on this one included everything I received at a minimum. I would suggest (if you haven't already) familiarizing yourself with all of the features and options in the documentation on the HP website, then if you have questions about whether these units have certain features, I suggest contacting the supplier. Some information can be gleaned from the questions section, but as I said over time, not all of the units will be alike. I can tell you dealing with this vendor has been great.

Needed a development laptop to carry around as my heavier Legion 5 was too burdensome. This laptop is perfect for my needs as it is quad-core and has the sufficient resources. It is also extremely light. The only draw backs is having too many tabs open may cause some slow down. (I am talking 10+ or more). I even photoshop AND video edit on it while using two monitors and firefox.This laptop is extremely light but sufficient for 99% of non-gaming use cases.I had the battery fail on me within a month of purchase, however the customer support from the seller was prompt and a free replacement battery was sent, no questions asked. These things do happen. The positive customer support outweighs any of the negative of the battery dying.4/5 great for most needs, super light in weight, don't have more than 10+ chrome tabs

Physical appearance was very good, with no significant wear or scratches. Problems came later.Upon first bootup the laptop did NOT present with the "Out Of Box" initial load, but rather opened into an Admin account with no password. Weird, but not a big deal for a used PC.No Windows updates had been done and basic HP drivers and software were missing. Annoying but not really a big deal.Oddly, despite missing Windows updates and HP drivers, Google Chrome, Firefox, Open Office, 7-Zip, WinRAR and VLC media player had been pre-installed. Chrome simply hung when trying to run it, Firefox seemed okay and I didn't try the others.The first problem I noticed is that the laptop has only 8GB of RAM, not the 16GB it was supposed to come with. This is a real problem.Edge and Firefox were pre-loaded with m.gsearch.co malware, a browser/search hijacker. This is also a problem.TPM 2.0 (required to upgrade to Windows 11) was disabled in the BIOS, which might be a default. Not really a problem, but it is a nuisance.Anyway, between being short 8MB and coming with malware, I can't really recommend the reseller. It's probably just carelessness and poor QC but that doesn't really matter. This should not have happened.

I have had health issues dealing with the remedial American medical system. I needed to keep my medical records together and apply for my health in states that know what a metal hypersensitivity is.Then I hope to escape the poverty that has been pushed in the Appalachian mountains by matriculating!! Shouldn’t have to but if I want to afford organic foods that don’t breed illnesses then I’ll need to play the game!!So thanks for giving me a great computer that don’t freeze. Just starts up. Fast. Unlocks with finger print. Runs multiple tasks. Just runs.Best part is I can double the ram when I want. i7 processor. 16g ram upgradable to 32.Thank you again for the simplicity. It’s just so smooth!!! Ahhh. Relief!Even the local programs for internet is slowed to a crawl when the people needing technology the most are punished for there economic status!! I have purchased three of these systems, and they simply perform with ease. Being an IT Support Engineer for 26 yrs, I have seen hundreds of systems but this one comes loaded, 16GB memory and 8th Gen i7 CPU. That's outstanding for less than $300. I hope this review helps shoppers on the quality and performance. Bang for the Buck - Todd the Computer Guy.

So far the only issue I have is with the “excellent”condition that this laptop was supposed to be in. It stated that there shouldn’t be any visible defects from 12 inches. Not the case with mine, plus it has skins on the lid and on the touchpad to cover anything else.
