i’ve been doing jump rope as a warm up for years with speed ropes and wanted to dip my toes into the weighted rope for a little more of a challenge. This was exactly what I was looking for. It’s very comfortable to hold and isn’t too chunky to store nicely. No silly gimmicks, just a good ole jump rope. I’m 5’3 and the length of the rope is great. It’s become a staple for my workouts and adds a perfect layer of intensity to my routine. It’s super fun to use once you get past the weight difference compared to a speed rope and i’ve had no problems regarding quality or function yet!

Love this jump rope. Gives you a great work out and leaves you out of breath after a couple of minutes. Working at increasing my stamina and this is helping a lot.

A workout for sure!!!! Never tried a weighted jump rope before and it was difficult for me. My husband is able to use it more than I can but the quality of the jump rope is pretty nice! It durable and I’m sure we will have forever. The rope is thick enough to not get tangled and we store it in the bag it comes with for easy storage.

I can lift 50 lbs easily despite my recent sedentary life style but with that said, this thing was impossible to swing like a jump rope without risk of injury. Like one smack in the head and you’re injured and it’s a lot of strain on the wrists and palms. It doesn’t have handles allowing the rope to spin. Other than that I love it, it’s just too heavy duty for the average person. I wish they made a more narrow and lighter size for beginners…like for women like me with small hands and wrists. It’s just too hard to actually steadily jump rope with due to the weight, circumference and lack of handles.For reference, I’m 5’3.5” and 195 lbs and can deadlift 180. I hope they eventually make a thinner & lighter version for beginners: 0.5-1.5 lbs.

This is alot harder than it looks! Kicked my A$$ first few times as I wasnt prepared as I should have been. But in time I got used to swinging it, jumping high enough to clear it, and keeping my hands/wrist/and grip all engaged. Gets heart rate up fast!!!Note: If you see the light or hear the fat lady singing, stop immediately as you’re dying. Yes you can get THAT light headed doing this!

Nicely weighted and works well as jump rope.

This rope including the handles is 108" while it is listed as being 9.2ft, which would be 110.4." Not a massive difference, but this rope is stiff and being a bit shorter than listed, as well as being shorter than any of the other ten random ropes I've recently bought means I need to return it. If you have a Crossrope this is also shorter than the 9ft large size since those are measured in rope length plus the swinging attachment mechanism and not including the handles. I use a large for Crossrope even though I'm 6'3 because my legs are a little shorter. So again this rope is not for taller people. Will have to return and find try another brand that has this weight in a longer size since the only longer options for this brand is more expensive and heavier.
