Great value for money
I used to take a valerian/hops/one-more-herb-I-can't-remember combo from Solaray that was pricey, but really did the trick when it came to relaxation. Then I realized I could take the components of that same pill separately, pay a lot less, and still get that sweet, sweet relaxation. Nature's Way is a fine company that gives you what you pay for and tries pretty hard not to rip you off. I think their products are decent, and the active properties you're looking for in the herbs are, well…active! They'll do what you expect them to. Well worth the price tag!

Vegan capsules
I’m not a fan of vegan capsules. I think the gelatin capsules suit my body chemistry a lot better. This is my second order. I haven’t had any improvement in sleep quality. I haven’t had any negative side effects. I will be discounting use.

chronic insomnia, this seems to work for now
I have chronic insomnia. I have tried valerian root, benadryl, otc sleeping aids, inositol, sunflower lecithin, etc.I use this in conjunction with kirkland brand sleeping pills and it helps me relax and wake up refreshed. I try to avoid using this more than once a week because I tend to build up a tolerance pretty quickly. It doesn't have a strong odor (unlike valerian root) and seems to relax me mentally to the point where I may struggle for 20 minutes to keep my eyes closed, but after that I wake up and I have no recollection of a struggle, if that makes sense?Anyways, I recommend this product for people with insomnia. I would also advice that you use deep breathing and meditation to help calm the nervous system.

I can't recommend one way or the other
Bought these to try to help me sleep better... I read it somewhere. I'm a hard case, so these may not be to blame. Nothing natural has helped my insomnia, so far. I do realize these are used for other things and seemingly successfully, that's why I didn't want to rate them too low. I can't really recommend for or against.

Non drowsy equivalent to a benadryl for sleep
Hops has been a wonderful way to improve my sleep! I originally started taking it since hops is supposed to be a natural source of estrogen and I needed a boost at the time.... but I would take it before bed and I started to notice that my sleep improved immensely as a result! Have you ever noticed how after having a super hoppy beer (i.e. IPA, Imperial IPA, etc) that you get sleeper than with a normal beer? Perhaps I am just more sensitive to hops, but IPA's and hops in general is very calming.Hops has been listed as a natural remedy to help with sleep issues. It's certainly not going to be "prescription strength"... but if you're looking for a little help in this area and would normally just grab half a benadryl, I highly recommend this as an alternative that won't leave you drowsy in the morning.

Did not help me.
Was supposed to help me sleep better. It did not. Will not buy again. Waste of money.

Good for sleep
I've had chronic sleep problems since I was a teen and am on prescribed medication for my insomnia but it's still not enough for me to get a whole night of sleep. Hops and valerian root have been the most helpful supplements for me, and I've tried every supplement for sleep that was ok to take per a drug interaction checker. I take three of the hops every night and it has definitely had a positive impact on the quality and length of my sleep. Supplements affect everyone differently, though. I recommend checking with your doctor and a drug interaction checker before using any new supplement.
