Secure fit, quality finish, and larger button for better strap hold without damaging the instrument.
🎸 I bought these as I had used them before and was satisfied with both the construction and the finish. Some cheaper alternatives are noticeably smaller, and from the images, it is clear they would press into the instrument’s surface when fitted, even with the felt protection. That is not the case with these. They cost twice as much, but the secure fit and the fact that they will not damage the instrument make them a far better option. The only drawback is the screw supplied with the gold version—considering the finish, a brass screw would have been more suitable, or at least one with a matching gold finish. It’s a very small point as you cant see the screw very well once installed.🎸 I found the strap button slightly larger than many of the smaller versions available, which makes the strap sit more securely and reduces the chance of it coming loose. Fitting was straightforward, though it requires care, as there are no instructions included. The biggest concern is preventing damage to the finish. Before installation, I checked inside the instrument to confirm that the tail block was thick enough for the screw and correctly positioned. Mine was offset by about 5mm, though not enough to cause a problem.🎸 To install, I marked the desired position and placed a piece of protective tape over it—avoiding clear tape, which can be difficult to remove cleanly and is not robust enough. I drilled a 1mm pilot hole to match the screw’s depth, measured with the button, screw, and felt assembled. This was then widened to 2mm, then 3mm. To prevent the screw from damaging the finish or the centre seam, I drilled the outer layer to 3.2mm to a depth of 2mm. The screw went in smoothly and held securely. The opening in the button is wide enough to accommodate a standard screwdriver head without issue. As mentioned, I have purchased these before and will again. ✔️

Excellent quality strap buttons
These are at the 'sturdy' end of strap bettons compared with some others recently purchased. I'd use them with confidence on any heavy weight acoustic guitar or solid body electric. Pack came with soft washers to protect finish on instrument surface. Good price. Delivered promptly.

Best strap locks
Reasonably priced. Great replacement strap lock buttons. Perfect to use the same strap with Dunlop strap locks on multiple guitars. Great for the touring musician.

Great product but I had some issues
These are great quality and very easy to attach to your guitar.the only issue I encountered was my front strap lock, I couldn’t screw in enough to stop wobbling, I think the screw was slightly too long for Yamaha Pacifica so I just kept my old front strap lock luckily it was the bottom one I just needed to replace anyway and I now have a spare.

Yes but read me.
Half of a fool proof locking system. Don't buy this. Buy the full set. One day you will loose your strap or buy a different. The strap side is impossible to buy on its own.
