Only wish it came with directions in english, also weights for pencil pivot point. I was able to find some large washers to put at the pencil pivot point and they worked great

Some might think my review harsh but I'm going on first impression. No English instructions at all. Having to figure it out with youtube is NOT okay. Second the box is very flimsy and large for the product. Third It's. Plastic very bendable plastic.

I used google translate for the directions: Instructions for useAfter assembling as shown, install the 1-foot fixing hole in the fixing clamp and you can use it.1. Enlargement: Place the original image under the (2) guide pen, place the drawing paper (white paper) under the (3) drawing pen, hold the drawing pen and move it along with the original image, and the original image will be enlarged on the drawing paper.2. Reduce: Interchange the (2) guide pen and the (3) drawing pen, and swap the positions of the original image and the drawing paper, and the original image will be reduced.3. Move screw A and screw B and (2) guide pen to the appropriate position to obtain the desired enlarged pattern. (As shown by the dotted line in the figure above, and by analogy, you can obtain the enlarged patterns of various multiples marked on the ruler)

Excellent machine for tracing. I am very satisfied with this item.

It worked for my needs. 1:2 is the smallest setting I could have used a 1:1.5.

Expand plans, art work sections with this tool. Easy to follow instructions, and with a little math the range of enlargement or reduction is very dynamic. Very hand in my case as I have a series of old magazines with plans that I need to extract for my hobby. A great buy!!

Unfortunately, this was probably thrown-out money. There are no instructions, and whatever writing there is, is in Chinese. I can probably look for pantograph instructions on line, but haven’t taken the time to do that yet. The plastic is light and flimsy. Oh well, maybe someday I’ll get around to figuring out how to use this thing…..

The metal pieces are not contained in a bag and they fell out when I opened the box. The only parts listing is on the box and it is difficult to tell if I have all the pieces which fell on the floor. I have no idea how to use it so now I must look for instructions on line.
