It does have a USB port though. Perhaps scan's can be directed to that port.

Q: Does the gx7021 fit legal sized paper. many comments say the gx7020 cannot accommodate it. was this fixed with the gx7021?

MY GX 7020 Will print on Legal Size Paper; however, you have to feed it through the back feeder very few sheets at a time.
