Simple’s to follow directions to install took 20 minutes. No leaks. All tool supplied. Also has a line of replacement parts if required in the future.

Nothing else comes even close!!
I have fitted basin wastes for over 30 years. Not one has ever stood the test of time. Till this little beaut from Vado :-)Until Vado invented this it was a nightmare to get them to seal. Even brass ones ended up looking rubbish after a couple of years simply because of the chemicals we use everyday to wash in, do our teeth with & to clean the basin with. The shiney bits in contact with water are polished stainless with the mechanism being engineering plastics.Traditionally the clic-clack mechanism was brass so in short order it would literally bind together as the fine powder in toothpaste hardened off so the damn things got stuck down. As the old school mechanisms were sat in the water flow there was no choice. With this one the mechanism is under the removable head and made, as I say, of plastic. It can be removed in seconds and rinsed out every so often so it stays pristine.I'll shut up now because I'm even boring myself! Truth is if you have a wash basin - USE THESE. There are as close to a perfect product as I've ever seen (my own invention not withstanding...)

Brilliant idea from Vado, simple to fit.
Genuine Vado waste, delivered in original Vado box with instructions inside.Arrived at midday, fitted by 12.30. Took longer to remove the old waste and all the old PlumbersMate mastic from the basin than actually fitting the new waste. Only tool required was an adjustable spanner to remove the old backnut. New waste uses an allen key (supplied) to tighten down.Be aware that some of these Vado wastes sold on here are plastic, this is the updated Vado waste and is all brass (except the click-clack itself which is plastic) and a perfect replacement for the original (10-year old) Vado waste, after the old brass click-clack destroyed itself and couldn't be removed from the waste.Definitely recommend this.
