Top quality tap
Fantastic tap I looked ace did a lot of research before getting this tap its absolutely top quality in look and feel and the way it operates.. Thirties or a good jet of controlled water nicely aerated no splash... I'm confident it'll last many years.... Simple to get into place and very functional and beautiful looking..

Fantastic quality Grohe basin tap
There are taps and there are Grohe taps. There's a reason why they are more expensive than others because they are solidly built and designed to last for years. I bought this Grohe BauEdge single lever basin tap to replace a similar looking but poor quality tap installed in my new build home.As many others have pointed out and as is clearly stated in the listing, this tap has pre-fitted Euro sized tail ends and so existing pipework may require appropriate fittings if converting from UK spec fittings. As I have isolation valves fitted to my pipework, the job was straightforward enough. I purchased a pair of 15mm to 3/8 copper tails from my local hardware store for less than a fiver. If you're doing it the way I did it, you will also need new 15mm compression nuts and olives for attaching the tail end fittings to the isolation valves. You may also need some PTFE tape to ensure a watertight fit. There are conversion fittings available from Amazon but they wouldn't have been suitable for my existing isolation valves unless I was prepared to buy a length of copper piping, which I wasn't.I also purchased the Grohe Concerto base plate which has ensured a neat and watertight seal into the basin hole. Not only that, the tap looks better in my opinion with the chrome decking plate. This is a good quality tap at an affordable price and it looks great. It's easy to clean too.

Quality feel to the tap
Went for this as I already had a Grohe tap in another room. The lever has a smooth action and it is easy to use.Note as with all Grohe taps you need to buy converters in the UK so the tap connectors fit. I got a pair of these on Amazon for roughly £5 which make the overall price a bit more but at roughly £50 in total these are good value quality taps from a reputable brand. I only wish I didnt have to buy converts for the fittings

Get a compression adaptor connector for UK fittings
Good price, nice style, easy to fit. Needs 3/8 to 1/2” compression adaptor for typical UK fittings

Grohe make great taps but remember you need the adaptors
Solid and reliable as always from this brand. The tap comes with the tap tails but you will probably need adaptors to fit them onto the normal valves we use in the UK.

Bit pricey but quality
We replaced an Ikea tap. This one is good for our Airbnb room since it is tall enough that the kettle can be filled from it. It is also very smart and flow is easy to control.

Lovely tap but extras needed for UK fitment
I purchased this Grohe basin tap firstly because of the relatively low price for a branded tap, and secondly because I liked the style, although my wife wasn’t convinced based on the pictures as it looked very tapered, but the tapering is a lot more minimal in reality.I did have concerns about reviews that said the tab was to small for UK basin holes, but thought I would give it a go being it’s distributed by Amazon, so I could return easily. These review were indeed correct for the basin I have...it’s just a couple of millimetres too small. However, I really like the tap, so I started looking into how it could be adapted. I found a Grohe base plate on Amazon (pictured) that makes this tap work on UK sized holes. Downside is the additional cost of £14.If you do go ahead with buying this (and I do recommend it), you will likely need to purchase 2 x 15mm to 12mm reducing compression joints (also pictured), as the Flexi feeds are euro spec. These cost me a couple of pounds from a plumbers merchant.Worth noting that this tap requires a balanced water system, and pressure above 1 bar. I have a combination boiler with very good water pressure, so it works well. Unbalanced systems will require a non-return valve on the hot water feed (additional cost).I will be purchasing another soon to replace a Bristan tap that is extremely noisy due to my good water pressure.
