HozelockPro Metal Double Male Hose End Connector

Well Made But Unreliable
These are solid units, and seem to connect ok, but on higher water pressures they disconnect and start spraying water everywhere. Oddly the plastic Hozelock version is much more stable - not had a plastic one disconnect ever. Disappointing as they are well made and sturdy, but are NOT as reliable as the cheaper plastic version.

Seems to be a quality item.
Got this to connect two explandable hoses together to make a super hose that can reach from back garden, through gate, to front garden so I can water out front and wash my car...So far this connection is holding firm. I chose this piece because of the metal construction which is almost certainly more durable than the plastic versions, especially in the cold.seems to be compatible with all of the standard UK hose connectors. There is even a piece of cardboard with a directional arrow so you don't mess up the valve configuration. It has some heft to it to ground the actual connection of the hose too, which I quite like.

Heavy metal
I got this to replace a leaky perished store-brand hose connector, and I'm extremely impressed with it. I'm using it to connect two hoses so I can water the front garden. One is a genuine Hozelock hose, the other is a generic no-name expanding hose. They both click in firmly and the connection is rock solid.I don't quite understand the economics of how this high quality, solid metal connector can be sold for barely £2 more than the infinitely more fragile plastic version, but my advice is to take advantage of this strange quirk of retail, and get the high-quality one. It's abundantly clear that this will out-last any of its rivals.

Worth the extra cost.
These Hozelock Pro Metal Double Male Hose End Connectors are much stronger than the cheaper plastic ones, which tend to snap, during the cold weather.I can recommend both this product, and the Seller.

It does what it's supposed to and doesn't leak.
These are dearer than the plastic ones available but 'buy cheap, buy twice'. Whilst I expect I'll have to change the seals eventually, the metal part should last years.I've only had it a few months and used it a handful of times but it works the way it was intended without leaking water from the join.I'm pleased with my choice.
