Q: What is the decibel range of this whistle?

I am not exactly sure. I never tested it with my decibel meter. I am guessing, from experience, that with a good strong puff of air, it will put out about 100 dB. Lesser amounts of air reduce the output proportionally. It is the best whistle I have ever owned. It's worth every penny I paid for it. In the high-school gym it will make all the kids scream and put their hands over their ears, when given a hard blow. Teachers have been told to only blow softly because of this, because it hurts your ears pretty well. It is made from stainless steel and the construction quality and polished finish is Excellent. It is a lifetime item, and would be perfect for survival purposes in a 72 hour kit or preppers bag.

Q: Can I put this whistle on a key chain

of course, they come with a very durable key ring, i have on all my keyrings, i wirk round lots of heavy equipment and very loud motors, thier sound pierces right through all the loudest motors, everyone should have them, they saved my life a few times already! god bless!

Q: What frequencies does the whistle hit?

I do not know the exact frequency, but it is in the higher range. Here is some info from the Acme website for the Acme Thunderer Official Referee Whistle - 60.5.Blowtone: High, Blowsound: Very High Volume.***************************************************UPDATE: I did find a website that said a Police Whistle has a frequency of about 2800 Hz and the Acme Thunderer would definitely fall into that category.
