I like this tool since it can be set on a tripod. Or hang on a wall or can be attached to a metallic place using magnetic parts. I can use one line of laser horizontally or vertically. It has a bag to keep it safe which also has a pocket for batteries.I use it for my projects you will find it multifunctional and practical. It is good for DIY projects or professional home improvements👊👌👍

I purchased this to cast a line on the floor across a 40 foot span. The laser performs as described and is bright enough to reach the entire distance with both plumb and level. The screw mount on the bottom allows you to attach it to a stand - I used a camera tripod in order to get enough height to cast a line on the floor for the entire 40 feet. Of course I also went around the house checking how plumb and level the kitchen cabinets were, counter tops, door jams, floors, pretty much everything that I could find. Hey why not right? Yeah you will too.A nice feature is that It has a little battery pouch on the side to keep the batteries when not using the level which will ensure that the batteries don't leak and damage the tool if you don't use it for a while.The price on this has risen so much in the last year (nearly double) and I don't know if I would buy one again for that reason and only that reason.

I was disappointed in this product. It failed to hold a line and seemed to drift once locked.

This worked great! I fastened it to a tripod for a 100 ft^2 laundry room with 12" square tiles and the job looks great. My only complaint is the power-on switch takes a lot of force to turn on, so its very easy to budge out of nominal position between days.

I had to return it, as the shelves I put are slanted toward one end. Yes, I did use a tripod, I also tried a level flat surface. No difference. Interestingly enough the instructions say, not to drop it, or it will need to be releveled, but no instructions on how to do that! If you ship a product that cannot be dropped, just how is that going to be successful? Passenger Pidgeon's even stop to rest sometimes! The post office or any of the capital letter delivering companies use conveyer belts that drop stuff all the time.
