I wanted to try this before I made a review of it. And all I can say is this cutter work great for me, I did something that someone one else said to do when you're cutting with it I turned the plank over and cut on the softer side first it makes the blade last longer and since I was cutting rigid core planks it did make a difference.This cutter saved me a lot of time from going outside and cutting planks with a miter saw or jig saw and made a lot less of a mess. As I always say everyone will have their own opinion of products they buy so what works for me may not work for you.

I'm a Floor installer and been at it for 49 years. For the little money this thing is great. I have another cutter that I paid over 400.00 for it and this cheap cutter works as good. I can cut a factory edge and its perfect to rejoin to the next plank. I'm back here getting ready to order one more for this big job I'm on. The fence is a perfect fit so at first it takes a little work to use

We recently did two rooms with LVP flooring and this was a tremendous help. It's a bit of a pain to move the blade around and that function could/should be simplified. But the blade stayed sharp throughout the project. It will cut lengthwise without problem in addition to cutting the planks to the correct length. If you needed to make a small "U" cut in the center of the plank you will need to make at least one cut by hand or with another tool. 45 degree cuts are a breeze and will cut other angles as well you just need to carefully line up the blade. If you DIY, or plan on doing a lot of LVP flooring I recommend you get this.

If all you have are straight cuts, thn this is the unit to buy, If you have a lot of L or U cuts get something else or keep a little saw/jigsaw handy. No matter how I tried to move the blade, it just keeps cracking the corner on Nucore ridgid vinyl.

Worked perfect for my 1000 square feet of vinyl plank flooring project. I did have use a skillsaw for cutting lengthwise. Doing multiple parallel cuts on the cutter was awkward.
