Easy to assemble if you look up 'How To Assemble The Gymform Ab Booster Plus' on You Tube.Tip: Take care when unpacking as, apart from the 2 screw bolts for the rear base, all the screws/bolts and washers needed for assembly are loosely screwed into position and may have come loose in the bags. You will need to unscrew and re-screw as you assemble finally tightening with the allen key provided.Tip: When attaching parts with 3 short screws, do the middle one first and then gradually tighten the side ones equally so the part is not pulled off to one side.Assembly Steps:1. attach the two base stands to the folded central structure (use the 2 screws from the bag for rear base)2. open it up, standing it on its feet and attach the seat3. assemble the front structure (by attaching the grab handle, pedal bar and push through foot rest).4. remove the short and long bolts, drop the short lever forward so it hangs below the long bolt holes5. align the front structure so it hangs vertically with the pedals towards the seat and push into place6. push the long bolt through to attach to central structure and use short bolt to attach to the short lever.(use spanner supplied to hold locknut steady while tightening with allen key. Do not over-tighten.)7. attach tracker holder to top of handle, insert AA battery into tracker and slide onto holder.Once I had reattached the front the correct way round ;-) I was very pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to use* and equally how quickly you can feel it in your abs. Much more so than the admittedly basic rowing machine I bought for a similar price. It also appears to be sturdily build and I would not hesitate to recommend. (Will update this review if it subsequently fails.)*The bit I am finding hardest is remembering to take a deep breath before and then exhale slowly while pushing on feet / pulling on arms so I don't end up with a muscular paunch rather than a flat tum!

Takes about 30 mins to assemble but it's not difficult. The result is a simple machine which exercises quite a few muscle groups. Easy to quickly raise your heat-rate. I've found it best to use for as little as one minute and then rest for a minute before repeating. Nine minutes after you start you'll be feeling exhausted but happy! It does get easier as you get fitter, or so I am told!

Gosh I’m astounded by this thing ! Its not the best looking but by golly it gets the heart rate up without feeling too knackering . It’s totally silent despite former reviews ( I get the feeling they’ve altered the design). I live in apartment and was worried as any squeak or squeal would mean it would have to be sent straight back. But no. It’s a ( silent) keeper. The seat is low so easy to mount even people with limited mobility could use this & the intensity of movement is up to you . It’s v low impact too. Go slow ,go fast , thrash it and go full throttle or go gentle- it’s all possible without having to get off and change resistance ( there isn’t a knob for this , it’s all in the movement) . I love it and I’m no ninny. There’s a YouTube video to help you to build it as the instructions are a bit tiny/ sparse but it only took 15 mins to construct. It feels sturdier than it looks and I’m delighted with my decision to purchase it !

I like this a lot, it’s a good workout, the calories and rep counters not the best, but if you have a Fitbit watch or something that can be remedied, it does work though. Good value for money, does the job, easy to ensemble. Folds neatly for storage. I just wish the seat was a bit softer. But I put a little round pillow on it and that was remedied.For the money you get a great workout and I think it’s worth the price. Especially if you don’t have hundreds for a fancy machine.Really impressed and the two issues I had are not going to cause the machine to not do it’s intended job. Also I feel fitter already and I have lost a few pounds already.Enjoy I know I am.

The build quality is a bit flimsy I am 12 stone if you are heavier I wouldn't risk it but you do get a good workout

Worst thing - instructions for assembly - they are miniscule and even if you can see them they aren't clearnice and compact and folds up easily. Quiet so far and easy to use though you know you've exercised. I'm not the fittest or most active person but as I remember the only person I'm competing against is myself hopefully will slowly become fitter using it little and often until one day .......There is a minor missing piece - one of the blanking plugs on the main bar - but it's not structural and isn't a thing of beauty anyway so not too bothered

I bought this late September 2023 and gave it a good review. I'm 69 years old and it was perfect for exercise as I'd had a hip replaced in June 2023 and had to take it easy. I weigh about 95kg so was well within the stipulated weight advised and was always mindful not to work myself too hard. A couple of days ago I was halfway through my usual routine and the machine collapsed under me. Luckily although I landed on my back it wasn't the side that I'd had the hip replaced but bruised my buttock and back. I have since reported the matter to Amazon but have yet to hear back from them. I also have photos of my bruises but I haven't included them as I expected Amazon to reply to my original complaint as I've always found their customer service excellent.
