Performance Tool W84003 Flexible Spark Plug Hole and Valve Component Service Tool with 14-Inch Hose and 1/4-NPT Air Hose Fitting

Was disappointed at first because mine was missing a seal in the air attachment side so it set me back.. I had got ahold of them and told them that and they sent me a new one free of charge and it worked great for my valve stem seals. 5/5

1. There was a metal shaving inside the end that threads into the cylinder head. That could have been a very bad thing if I didn't notice it first.2. the crimps aren't tight enough and the fittings turn inside the hose end.3. The 1/4 NPT thread were not correct. I don't know what thread pitch they actually were but they weren't 1/4 npt. Ended up forcing the fitting in and crossing my fingers because this was going to be a one-time use tool at that point. I managed to make it work but man this part is total garbage.

I could not figure out how to screw this fitting into the recess of the cylinder head where the spark plug goes. You can't use a socket, since the end fitting is crimped onto the hose.All I can think of that would work would be a deep offset wrench, that can fit in the recess of the head at the spark plug hole. I didn't have one, so I ended up using the "Performance Tool W84005 Air Hold Fitting, 14mm/18mm" which I bought from Amazon at the same time as this one, hoping one of the two would work for me.Application was a 1983 Ranger 2.8L V6 engine valve seal replacement.

The overall product was really good it was the way that it was packaged that I was not happy with the one that I received did not come in the original packaging so I did not get the lifetime guarantee that Performance Tools offers because the one that was shipped to me came in a plain bag

I replaced valve seals on a sbc. This worked very good.

Well, at the end of the day I got the thing to work. I will say this part could benefit from having a swivel type fitting that screws into the 14mm/16mm male fitting. Pretty difficult to use on a 06 Gto with headers. If the male end swiveled this could be a home run.
