I had to use different P/R settings to match what my outboard motor is but once I got it set, it works great. I love having the hours and the RPM's showing. I am not sure I will really use the number of hours until servicing because I service my motor at least once and sometimes twice a year anyways. It's just a little 6hp Tohatsu so it's super easy to service so there's no reason to wait until you hit the certain number of hours. It is a nice feature though.

Gebruik deze op m`n buitenboord motor. Na 2 jaar nog steeds prima. Batterijen gaan ongeveer 1,5 jaar mee.

Ich habe mir diesen Drehzahlmesser gekauft um bei Motorsägen und Freischneider die Leerlauf und die maximal zulässige Höchst Drehzahl einzustellen. Leider war es sehr umständlich bei den meist sehr kurzen Zündkabeln das Meßkabel um das Zündkabel zu wickeln.Also habe ich das Problem gelöst indem ich die beiden Drähte im Meßkabel ca. 3 cm abisolieret habe,die beiden Enden zusammen gedreht und an eine ca. 1cm Breite Kfz Krokodielklemme angeschlossen. Jetzt funktioniert der Drehzahlmesser Top und ohne Messfehler und Kabelgetüddel. Absolute Kaufempfehlung für Leute die gerne mal Basteln und viel Geld sparen wollen.
