Love the feel of a good book and large illustrations!
I'm still reading this book, and love the great introduction to the Blender interface and workflow. It is full of images for those of us who need to see it and reflect on how to use it.Blender is an amazing free 3D mesh design tool that also supports video production, game development, and animation creation. This book describes how to get started and get productive.Blender has so many features that the interface looks complex for new users, even after the release of 3.0. This book takes the mystery out of how to get started and has excellent explanations.Disclaimer: I have not finished the book nor was I looking for typos. This is a project-oriented and productivity review. I bought it to answer a question, which it did, and kept reading it in my spare time to enjoy it and learn new features. The book has thicker paper and a great feel for people who like the feel of a good book. The pages are matte rather than a glossy finish, so no glare. We have family members with low vision, and this book is easy to read and enjoy.Best of all, when our dog knocks it off of the table, the corners and edges stay intact and it looks great. It is beginner's book. It also has great information for intermediate users who know the tool, but use Blender less frequently and need a refresher on where to find the good stuff. It also explains some alternate ways to accomplish tasks, which I enjoyed.Haven't had time to use Blender in years, but when I do, I am on a tight deadline. With this book, I was able to adapt a 3D model and orient it for a VR learning simulation in less than ten minutes. I need answers fast and strong productivity tools. It is a great book! Is it perfect? No idea, but I love it.

Blender
So I got this for the work I love it worth the money…. I studied MAYA but wanted to learn BLENDER to learn new skillsets. 10/10 forth the money, 10/10 for the easy to learn.

Great book
Really helpful trying to understand blender's pipeline. I'm a concept artist that needs to do some modeling for work, and was tired of jumping from zbrush to maya back to zbursh into yadda yadda yadda....Blender is great, and so is this book.

it's bigger and better than you think!
When this book arrived, I was very surprised at how big and heavy it is. Then I saw all the color screenshots and clear instructions. I realized that even I -- a woman in her 50s -- could learn Blender with s book like this.

A really good book to get you started
This book is very good. The examples are clear and it really covers a lot of the basics. I think coupling it with some Grant Abbit videos should help anybody new to Blender get a good start.
