This is a great product to use in the CatIT mini fountain. It helps make the water taste better and have less nasties for the kitties. Cats (especially male) are prone to urinary tract infections and this helps make sure that limestone and other components of water don't deposit themselves in the cat's kidneys or urethra. Especially important if you live in a hard water area, like the UK. Can be used instead of bottled waters which is more expensive and plastic intense. I keep mine on a subscription service and change every month or less, as needed.Just be aware that this is not a free pass to change the water every month. To keep the water fresh it should be changed at least once a week and ideally twice a week. Your cats will appreciate it!
