The sankey is one of the best hymn book that I've known. I came across this song book since I was a child, the hymns are very touching when sing with the understanding. My church use this book for prayer meetings. I will love to buy some more at the same price for other members.

I though I was getting the standard sized song book only to get this very small book and the words are already tiny. You should specify the size.I couldn't bother trying to return it.

I grew up singing from Ira D. Sankey and I am 72 yrs now, so I am quite happy to pass on our tradition to our congregation. I will introduce some of the selections through the presentation of a Sermon In Songs.

I was disappointed with this book. It is bound well, came in good shape, but it contains text only. Prior to ordering, I tried to determine if there was music, but could not find the information anywhere. So I assumed it must have music, since the title talks about songs and solos. So, very sad to say the least. Also, it came from the UK, which was not noted anywhere, so it took a long time to arrive. I would not have minded that had the book been a song/hymn book.
