CINEMA SECRETS Pro Cosmetics Ultralucent Loose Setting Powder

I bought this along side some Cinema Secrets foundation. I'm always on the hunt for options. I didn't have a translucent in my stash yet, so I went ahead on this.I'm really liking that it doesn't affect the color of your face, so you're not getting weird colors blending. It plays well across the board with other brand makeup (sometimes makeup isn't as mix and match as one would like). I also like that on MY skin it is a setting powder, but it has the capability to smooth like a finishing powder as well.I pictured it with 2 other products for size and color comparison. It comes white and goes on sheer. The packaging is pretty and simple, and it's a good size to still get your big fluffy brushes in there but more travel size than say Airspun.If you're into loose setting powder that is sheer and locks your foundations in, give this one a shot.

Althouhg I like this powder, nothing can avoid my face to shine like the sun. It helps to keep it without a shine for a while but eventually the oil "shines" through the powder. I've tried absorbing sheets before I apply the powder but it's a lost battle. It's a good product anyway.

I have been using this product since 1993 (from young to middle aged woman). It's so light and provides a flawless finish, even though I now have wrinkles here and there, Cinema Secrets products don't collect in those (character?) lines. I get compliments on my complexion regularly. I also use CS foundation occasionally and the two products work together marvelously. I highly recommend!

I bought this based on a recommendation from an associate at Macy’s and it worked great the first few times but now I think this powder is what dried my eyes out so bad and created rashes around my eyes. I’ve never had this issue before so it’s either this power or the concealer she sold me but I stopped using the concealer and only use the powder and still have the issue so do with that info what you will. If your skin can handle it, go for it but if you have sensitive skin, invest in the better quality stuff.

I wouldn't call myself an oil slick, but I do get rather oily. But this stuff? It keeps the oil at bay! I am so happy with this product! I will repurchase this as soon as mine runs out--which will take a decade probably!

Powder is so finely milled and does not flashback white. It holds all moisture from the t zone. Exactly what I needed. I still have more than half of the container full a year later!

I love this powder, doesn't mess with the base makeup color, just removes the shine, It's perfect.
