A good straightforward read with great research.
The book illustrates very objective and meaningful the Tobacco control in the Balkans: Members in Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece. After reading it, you will be familiar with the impact that has this industry in the economy of these countries. The author, Dr. Loubeau, nicely cover the tobacco culture, the prevalence, indirect advertising of tobacco companies, pricing and taxation policies, smuggling, and how differs one from another. The book is an excellent reference and compilation of data in these countries. Additionally, expose the challenges and possible recommendations for these Southeast Europe countries regarding tobacco public health issue legislating changes to promote health and be closer to Europe Union health standards.

Required for MPH
Somewhat dry reading, but considering the subject matter, it would b difficult to make it exciting. Required text for course, coupled with online videos and Webinars, is ok. Very thorough.
