Wera Fahrrad

I have a host of Wera tools and believe (until now) they are amongst the highest quality tools on the market. My opinion has changed I am afraid. The screwdriver bits in this tool set are like cheese. They have all just bent away in used which is really something as the screwdriver handle is tiny allowing very little force. Utter crap and I am disgusted. It makes me question the authenticity of the set

Good:The usual Wera quality.Almost everything you need for small machinery stripdowns.Separate micro-set with space for ratchet and favourite bits is a nice idea but I doubt I'll every use it.Bad:Why do Wera always include duplicates of common sizes? There are 2of TX2.0, TX2.5 and PH2. There would be better use of the space if a 3x0.5 flat, HX1.5 and TX8 were included (for the little tiny things I sometimes have to assemble). I've swapped out the duplicates for these items from elsewhere in my toolkit.

A good collection of bits for bicycle maintenance. However the build quality, the look and feel of the tools is not the same as other Wera sets. The plastic casing is thinner. The ratchet is crudely fashioned compared to others I own and the fabric case is less robust. So the expense does not give the quality I was expecting.Probably Wera trying to cash in on the popularity of bike use in recent times.Therefore I award three stars.Happy shopping

The quality is good although some important socket sizes were skipped e.g. 9 mm for cable retaining nut on my Shimano derailleur mechanism. Fortunately, the front pocket of the case is sufficient to store some extra sockets and a small pair of pliers.
