Easy to upload your chosen mp3 files and no need to convert the file format first. It has a volume potentiometer which is a great feature. I originally used this to create a custom Halloween prop and now it serves my 5 year old playing Ghostbusters from his proton pack. It will play 1 mp3 file providing the mp3 file does not exceed the memory. The files can be changed at your discretion quickly and easily. Highly recommend.

I was a bit sceptical as you are when buying from online when the item has mixed reviews however I am very glad to be one of the positives here. The module works, sounds great and will hopefully last long. I'm glad it came with instructions as they were needed and helped the process seem swift and easy. The only issue I had was the lack of information regarding the soldering required for the red and black wires. I only saw one other mention in the reviews and they had clearly had an unsafe interaction that supposedly cost them their laptop. I don't understand why the product arrives with the wires cut. There wasn't a mention of this in the product description or the extra work/help needed to connect them together safely and securely. I was lucky enough to find someone who helped me out but I feel like this should have been stressed at the beginning. Soldering is the safest method and other alternatives will not be as safe as that.Other than that, great item and I'm glad it works!

The media could not be loaded. Surprisingly loud speaker , easy to upload music, however I was afraid about module itself so designed and 3d printed case for it next I will do speaker holder and button case. Definitely will buy again :)

Well... it works, but not like I expected it to work. Let me explain. I expected that everytime I pressed the button it would play a single file and stop and then when pressed again it plays the next track/file and then stops again and so on and so on until all the files are played and then starts again from the 1st file/track. I already have a different brand of module that does exactly that. But what this one does when the button is pressed is play all the files/tracks from start to finish in order before it stops. If you press the button while the tracks are playing anywhere through the running order it stops and when pressed again starts right back at the start of the 1st track. This is fine if it's how you expect it to work but it's not pointed out anywhere in the description. On the positive side it has 8meg of capacity and the sound quality is reasonable. Is it worth the £15.00 I paid... probably not, but there is very little choice on amazon for this type of item.

This is very impressive and easy to add the mp3 song onto, the sound is crisp, really going to enjoy putting my project together.You have to solder and heat shrink the battery box to the power wires, if you cannot solder then just bend each wire over and then tape together, would highly recommend 5*****

Bought this to add to a 3d printed model of Cinderellas Castle.... So easy to get working, only needed to connect the battery pack, plug in to the laptop and drag and drop the file onto the device and off it went... Sound quality is great for this application, the possibilities for modelling, gaming and adding sound to anything are endless, great value for money

I’ve used these for three different craft projects to introduce music and sound to them. Need to be pc savvy to download your music/audio but it’s really easy to do. Two tips: sometimes comes pre loaded with some music so remember to delete that file to release a little more space for your audio also you may need to extend the wires to the speaker and switch which are pre soldered onto the circuit board, to suit your project. I have had to do this on every occasion. Memory not large but a great little piece of kit for craft projects.
