MOOG K6663 Front Lower Suspension Ball Joint for Chevrolet Trailblazer

Ok i wanted also give 3 stars, but 4 is because is USA MADE, and it seems tough product with quality, i hope not need come back and update to 1star, so myIssue is the same as acdelco, the grease fitting is like oversized, iam not sure if is on purpose but ghe acdelco ones the threads went bad and couldn’t have it installed, autodestruction, and sent back for refund, this one moog i just couldn’t order anything with trustful quality and get the part in time to get back on the road. SO MOOG PLEASE IF YOU SEE THIS REVIEW, i say thank you for the US made and robust building but please make sure to try install it and send installed already the grease fitting, so this way you see the QC is good and helps us not to work too much.

Fit my 2003 Trailblazer EXT perfectly. Great price. Just be prepared to fill ball joint with grease as it does not have much in it.

I have never had a faulty unit yet , and if worn in 3,4,5 yrs never had an issue with replacement (you just pay to reinstall) .

As others have stated, this photo does not match the current product. That's because MOOG redesigned the Dust cover. Look at the Photo I added and here's the description from Moog: On select Moog ball joint applications there is a pre-installed integral dust boot. These ball joints look cosmetically different but maintain the same level of performance you come to expect from Moog Problem Solver. This product feature provides easier installation. Same goes for the K6664 Upper Ball Joint

I was using this product on a 2004 Trailblazer, however, when I tried to install it, it is not the right size. The diameter is too small for the hole and the dept of the shank is also too small. However, I can't blame Amazon because even Moog's website lists it as the right part for the Trailblazer. I ended up going to Napa and getting the right part there and it actually cost less. While I firmly believe in Moog's quality, in this case I was disappointed. Luckily the top ball joint fit fine, it was just the lower one for some reason. Hopefully I can return it for a refund after I finish the other side.

Seems fine. I ordered two ball joints and they were slightly different as it looks like they did a product update / change and one was new stock and other was old. I sure don't like that sort of thing cause it seems sketchy but at the end of the day the fitup was the same and they work.
