Needed additional light in bedroom, picked up this low price dual light manual lamp, and a 4pk of smart plugs. The light isn't the highest grade quality, but for the price, it's great. As I was assembling, the bottom rod connected to the base came lose and the pole started to wobble. I checked underneath and everything was secure, nothing was spinning. I unscrewed that (and the now additional connected rods) from the base, and was able to screw it back on, and it became tight again (not sure if that's what the crooked complaints are about in other reviews). Added the shades and bulbs, and presto. Works and looks great. So much so the following week I got another one for the living room. For $30 a decent floor lamp with 2 a19 bulbs. With the additional smart plugs (4pk 5g wifi for another $30) and now have 2 rooms I never have to reach for the light switch again, unless I need ultra bright light. - update I have noticed a slight lean on one light, it leans in the direction the lower lamp points. Make sure when assembled, the power cord comes directly out the back opposite of the second lamp, and it should balance out.

All I wanted was a simple, inexpensive floor lamp for my spare bedroom; and this is it! Super ease to assemble (Although I suggest you make sure you keep pulling cord from base of the lamp so there is no slack while assembling [as mentioned in instructions]; otherwise you might have troubles screwing in the lamp post pieces straight.)The base of the lamp isn't bad assemble correctly and tighten all parts, and place in a corner if you have rowdy kids and pets and no issues there because this will all help to prevent tip-overs, which I like. (It does not come with a remote control though so keep that in mind.) The lamp comes really well packed, too! I purchased foy my daughters bedroom. It doesn't seem to get really hot and nor does it give off a hot heat level if kept on. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why people are returning these lights. To me, this has been an absolute steal. These lights are excellent. So, please keep returning them so I can keep buying them at the lower price because I need three more. One for my dining room and one each for my two extra bedrooms. If you are on the fence… you need to buy this lamp. This light is absolutely excellent; a steal for resale price or even at regular price this is a steal.Perfect lamp for me! Don’t listen to the negative views on this lamp. Buy this this lamp, it’s a great price for a good lamp. I could not ask for a better one at this price. In terms of a plastic shade, this is a good solid plastic. And if you don’t touch it, you don’t even know it’s plastic and is very appealing when it comes to how it looks. Its makes visibility in my daughters room perfect now. This lamp is on carpet and not shaky. I don’t expect it to fall. This is a very good buy for me. That’s why I purchased a second one. No, I’m not a competitor or a paid reviewer. I bought this lamp for my family member who had to move into a memory care facility where they requested non-glass lamps for safety. The lamp arrived on time and was well-packaged, with very basic "screw the parts together" instructions that anyone could follow. The problem I ran into was that the threaded inserts the manufacturer had inserted into each section of tubing for the stand were sometimes jammed into the tubing crookedly, making it impossible for the lengths to fit together properly. I was able to use pliers to remove and correctly reinsert the threaded pieces, but for anyone counting on a "no tools needed" assembly this would be a real problem rather than an annoyance. I would not have been able to remove & reinsert them by hand. Once assembled I was happy with the lamp; it was bright, inexpensive, and sufficient to do the job required, but be warned that the tubing is very thin. It could easily be bent if carried incorrectly or handled roughly.

I just assembled this lamp and it was not too difficult to do as long as you line up everything carefully. It provides a very good light for the whole room. I use it in my office and find I can direct the glare away from my computer and still have a lot of bright light. I am tempted to order another for other areas in the house requiring good lighting. It's a good price and the choice of colors – although I chose white, but the metallic look is also so nice, it will fit in any area of the house with a rather modern work. So far, I am very pleased with this lamp.

Great floor lamp. Great lamp to use either as a reading lamp or to provide light to a full room. Just use whichever one you want on the lamp, each has it's own switch that is easy to use. You can use either one or both at once as well, whatever your needs are.

Item seems sturdy and looks like the picture. However, like most of these types of products, you need to complete the final assembly yourself by attaching the stems of the lamp body together, and this part was very difficult due to an incorrect partial assembly that was done before the item was packed.The lamp body consists of metal tubes which are attached to each other with a threaded connector. After many tries at getting the stems connected, I finally figured out the problem. Two of the threaded connectors in my lamp had been screwed into the stems at an angle. Not sure how they did this because it would seem to require a lot of force. I was able to remove them (luckily without damage) using a pair of pliers and then re-insert them correctly. After I did that, the rest of the assembly was fairly easy.

I'm not sure what to say. It's a lamp. The lights come on when I use the switch, or turn off if they're already on. Easy to assemble.

Made of solid materials. Feels heavy enough to believe it should be quality made. Threads are a bit tight - some graphite (Pencil "lead") helps. Looks good in our living room - matches our other similar lamps. Works well (of course - so far!).
