All around great tool for an affordable price.
This scan tool is perfect for a mid level technician or extreme DIYer. I bought this tool to use both at work, professionally, and at home for personal vehicles, and for side work and I work on all types of vehicles from Hondas to Mercedes. So far, I have enjoyed using this tool for all three of those things. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and has regular updates. It has done every service light and parking break reset light that I have needed. The Launch tool is durable and comes with a nice carry case and a TPMS tool which has been useful. The customer service from Kingbolem is also very good and responsive.

Works great. Helped find a issue with my sons car
I bought this Scanner to replace an older, less informative scanner. I used this on my sons Toyota corolla that was having issues with rough idling. The scanner showed me the DTC and i was able to find the issue quickly. We replaced the faulty sensor and his car is working better now. This scanner is very easy to use and do diagnostics with. I wish i purchased this scanner a lot sooner than i did.

Quickly scanned all 6 of my vehicles
Starting off I’ve had this tool for about 2 months, also, I’m not a mechanic I’m a weekend tinkerer, I have many vehicles. It effortlessly scanned my 2015 Chevy crossover, 2003 Chevy truck, 2013 ford transit, 2005 vw diesel, 2010 dodge van, 2015 gmc crossover. It charges you for more detailed diagnostics but does what I bought it for which is major issues. Also did not work with my OBD1 to OBD2 adapter for my pre 1996 vehicles. All codes given on scanned vehicles were legit, took one of the trucks to mechanic and confirmed codes are legit. Would recommend for any homeowner or person who is leery about mechanics swindling them. YouTube is a great help for Diy-ers as well. Solid 4 star, like I said it charges you for smaller detailed diagnostics will update if necessary. Also to help further, Amazon will help you with a return even after the date stated to return item.

Well worth the purchase!
Picked up this scanner after researching those that can read ABS and Transmission codes. This scanner is easy to use and comes with good instructions. There are many videos on how to use this scanner. Batter was mostly charged when received and ready to go. Fired up the unit and followed the prompts. Signed into wifi and it did everything it needed to do. Updated very fast. I have since used this on a couple GM and Chrysler vehicles and the amount of info you can access it pretty huge. I can see all available PIDs and you can see live data of them also. I can't believe I waited this long to get one. Well worth the cost if you maintain vehicles!

Multi-make device, easy to navigate and email results direct from device.
Fantastic so far, works on all 4 of my domestic and import models. A couple of things, 1st, 5V DC power supply is included, but it is only a USB-to-5V cable, not an actual transformer. I was confused as I couldn't find it in the packing, but it's there. 2nd, the recommended hard-shell case doesn't fit the 129E, but I bought this caseling case:Caseling Universal Electronics/Accessories Hard Travel Organizer Carrying Case Bag, 9.8” x 5.6”x 2.8” - BlackIt was a perfect fit if you cut out the middle flap with some scissors, it holds the device and the cables like a CUSTOM fit. All the self-tests run perfectly, and you can email yourself a copy of the results of the scan via the LAUNCH server, which is an awesome option.

Fast and easy to use after updates
We ordered this because we were having a throttle issue and also wanted it for the other information it could provide. Upon arrival, it took quite some time to update. However, after update went out and plugged it in and within a few moments, not only did we know more about the truck that we had, but the throttle was reset and the Silverado was no longer running rich. This scanner provides more information than most will ever use in their lifetime. I would seriously recommend it for anyone who regularly works on their own or are weekend mechanics. Loads of features for the price.

Disappointed with product
I have only given this product three stars because it has not functioned up to expectation. I have two automobiles with the SRS light on and this scanner would not reset either. In addition to that it only pulled one vin from my three autos, and would not reset the ABS light on my Pontiac Grand Prix. It did identify a misfire correctly on one vehicle, therefore I'm giving it 3 stars. At this point I would not recommend this scanner.

Easy to use
I was kind of skeptical at first as I did read some harsh reviews for this product. I wanted to get an OBD2 unit as the warranty on my 2015 Ram 1500 expired, and the infamous check engine light appeared. I took my truck to the dealer where they charged me $125.00 to diagnose the check engine light, and then tell me that the fault was a $450 part (fuel sensor with fuel rail). Immediately following this event, another car in the household had its check engine light come on (2012 Volvo). It cost another $125.00 diagnose the problem which resulted in changing the oxygen sensor. I finally said to myself, it is time to get on of these scanners as I do most of my own repairs. after careful consideration (between the Foxwell NT644 Elite and the Launch CRP 129E), I ordered the Launch CRP 129E. I think some of the other reviews that mention trouble updating may be due to spotty WiFi, because mine updated very quickly. I then played with it by connecting to my truck, a 2016 Jeep Cherokee, and a 2012 Volvo S60. The tool would quickly connect to each car automatically, and provide the diagnostic report as pictured. I also dabbled with the other sections such as ABS, and the unit performed quickly and satisfactorily. Now I feel like hooking it up to everyone's car in the neighborhood as I want to see more of what it can do. Right now, I am very pleased with the unit and would recommend its purchase to anyone that is looking to bug an OBD2 scanner. Aloha!
