Q: Is there a weight limit on these?

I contacted j/fit - this is the response:"Thank you for the inquiry. The 18" plyo box can handle 800 lbs of static weight. The shorter the box the better the weight load. As you get into the higher boxes the weight limit goes down."

Q: I want the box to 16 ", but I have a question. can the box Reducce size? I don't understand the picture.

No. It is a fixed size. I like this because it is such much more stable than an adjustable height box. But, you have to be sure you are buying the box at the height that will work best for you.
