Surprised!
Works well! The little purple plastic adjuster is a big help. It’s very reliable when designing for projects or if you’re trying to edit proportions on a drawing or sketch for enlarging or shrinking. Either way accuracy isn’t too bad. For $10 it’s not that bad of a price. You get what you pay for.

Game changer for correct proportions
This is great for drawing or sketching accurate proportions. I found it easy to adjust and use. I read some reviews that made me think this would be flimsy, but this is awesome for an artist. I guess if you want to do drafting, you should spend the money for the expensive metal version. A key for me was knowing how to "use and adjust" this proportional divider. It is important for users to understand every drawing, sketch, or painting you may have to make several adjustments to achieve proper sizing of your subject/object. Perfect for portraits or landscapes, this will be a great addition for any skill set. Artist unite! USE your proportional divider.

Arms came a bit twisted—but can be fixed!
Initially gave this 2 stars. The arms came slightly curved apart. So this device could be only moderately accurate.I found it easy to adjust, and am happy with the number of proportion options the holes provide. The picture shows the warp or twist on long end—the points couldn’t get closer than this.UPDATE: Since anything under $100 gets bad reviews I tried heating the warped areas and letting them cool weighted down on flat surface. It worked! They’re perfectly straight now. Only took about 15 minutes of fiddling. Should work great now. I’m happy.

Review by a happy artist about the Proportional Scale Divider Tool by Pixiss!
I am so exited to get and try this drawing tool! I have never used one before though I have been creating art for a long time. I selected this Pixiss product because it was economical for the first time using it! Oh my gosh! Fun and easy to use first time out! I wanted to work specifically to help me to draw eyes! It's great!Oh, and because I am a Prime member, it was delivered in two days! The inside packaging was too flimsy and was a bit smushed and torn, but the product was fine.~

Flimsy, cheaply made, overpriced
It does work, but ... Cheaply made in plastic that is flimsy and warped in places. No instructions or markings, so the ratio has to be determined by trial and error with a ruler. The locking mechanism isn't tight, so the setting can be changed simply by careless handling. Overpriced, should cost half as much. Not a good value for the money.

Disappointed
This was a very disappointing product. I got it in with high hopes however, it is made of a very flimsy plastic and you are not able to keep the lot engaged on it because it is a very mobile plastic. I highly would recommend finding a metal one that’s what I will be doing.

Very good tool but needs some modification to be perfect
These dividers have propelled me to the next level with my art! I can now do a scaled up drawing from a photograph, have a master drawing and transfer with tracing paper to my watercolor (or whatever) page so I can repetitively try different color arrangements. The only thing I needed to fix with the dividers is that they don't positively lock in place and can slip while transferring measurements. I replaced the plastic slip pin with a locking thumb screw with is more positive for locking the dividers. They aren't precision instruments but are good enough for drawings.

Flimsy, hard to hold position, likely to break.
It looks nice and should be functional but the plastic is seems to be extremely fragile and bendable. The peg holes are not marked with proportional indications. The peg holes only provide limited proportional options. The locking mechanism is hard to keep a fixed open position and is likely to break easily when pushed too hard trying to get it to hold a position. Overpriced for 2 pieces of plastic on a peg.On the other hand, metal gauges are much sturdier and have variable options, BUT they seem to be much shorter so not very useful for artist proportional measurements on larger drawings.
