Typical Cross pen. Looks great, always works.
I’ve been using Cross pens for 40 years or so. I had one get smashed by a car one time, and they replaced it. Can always find refills in blue, which I much prefer over black. Not my fanciest nor a fraction of the cost of my Montegrappa pens, but Cross are ultimately more reliable.

Excellent
Very nice pen, heavier than just a regular ink pen feels robust and of a superior writing quality!

Well made pen!
Great pen! Now I have completed my pen collection! I like the style and how you open the pen the best! The ink flows smoothly..

Decent daily use pen with some room for improvement
I really want to like this one more than I do. Daily, I use a Lamy Safari, which I adore. For a pen that costs three times the price of a Safari, I expect exceptionality. The Cross ATX delivers in nearly all aspects. The main reason I purchased this pen was aesthetics—it looks sharp. I have the ATX ballpoint and was pleasantly surprised. Given I generally only use fountain pens, I made the purchase.PROS:- the aesthetic: all black, sharp, great texture- the feel: sits well in the hand, on the heavier side (which I like), writes extremely smoothly (I purchased the medium nib)CONS:- plastic guts: for the price, I was expecting an all metal pen- the cap: it does not sit well and I am afraid it will fall off—possibly got an odd fitted cap, but for the price, I expect higher quality- converter: not included with the pen, must be purchased separately

Snarky Pen User Approved
I’m picky when it comes to pens. It needs to be great writing quality with bold lines no matter the thickness. It needs to write cleanly with a short dry time. It needs to be made of high quality materials with easily changeable ink cartridges. This pen checks all those boxes. It is simple to use and is very smooth! Functions great and is priced extremely well. Buy two!

A joy to write with
The Cross ATX ballpoint pen is definitely not the most expensive or the highest quality pen that I own. Even so, I absolutely adore using it for everyday writing (particularly since I have it loaded with an ultra-smooth Monteverde Soft Roll blue ink refill for Cross pens). This pen has an edgy, contemporary design and many of the colorways have a modern knurled finishing. It is definitely not your father or grandfather's sedate, respectable Cross pen (full disclaimer: I am a huge fan of those too).Overall, the Cross ATX ballpoint pen really is a joy to use and looks fantastic to boot. I highly recommend that you pick one up. If you are still reading this, what are you waiting for? Hit the "Buy Now" button and don't look back!

Fantastic pen, especially at the price
This is my 5th cross pen, and undoubtedly my favorite thus far.First thing to note about me. Although I use a computer for 90 percent of my day to day functions, I write a lot by hand. And almost always with a pen. I use either felt tip or fountain pens the majority of the time. I enjoy the process of writing, so a good pen is quite important to me.I was a little apprehensive of this pen due to the perceived bulkiness of the pictures. I usually like a sleek style because I enjoy the feeling of having more control over the tip. From a design standpoint, I think the pen is quite beautiful. I was tempted to go with the blue, but went with the all back option and have been quite happy. My first use of the pen was a little underwhelming. The writing style was great, but I felt like the pen was doing the writing, vs my fingers (if that makes any sense). After several days, however, I began to notice that I need less force and my fingers were barely holding onto the pen as I wrote. And while I still am getting use to the large size, I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience ever since.

Not the quality of before
Edit: not was it was before, ink don't last, the colors are peeling off...Its pretty good to be in the low end of cross, works well (but i will definitely change to a fine refill instead of the medium included, it just change the whole experience), its comfortable in my hand and the weight its well distributed so it lays evenly in my hands (take into consideration i have big hands) but if I compare it with my classic cross century its completely different in every sense, from materials to details, but the price point its very different too! Its a damn good pen for the 20 dolars I paid for it, and one with lifetime warranty at that.
