Delicious coffee and great for RV or home! Fast too!
We have had our Adventure Press for 8 months now. It has performed flawlessly and makes great coffee (we like it strong!). It takes about 7 minutes from boiling of the water (we use an induction plate at home and in RV) to coffee: boil water, place three heaping coffee scoops of pre-ground dark roast from Trader Joe’s - YUM, stir till all grounds are wet and you see the crema, cover and set timer for 4 minutes and press. Voila. Enough to make two Yeti 14 oz mugs of coffee! Delicious!I have a brush I use to brush the grounds from the bottom of the press and a stiff silicone spatula to scoop out the grounds in bottom of pot. Easy to make another pot if we want more or make less by splitting 14 oz between us.We LOVE it for our RV as coffee grounds are my nemesis. Everything we have used gets grounds everywhere and I don’t want them in my RV tank. I have perfected almost zero grounds with the above method. We have talked about getting another one for the house as I keep bringing it in for coffee at home! Well made, light, durable, and I think of myself as somewhat of a coffee snob (other than I don’t grind my own beans……yet!)For the price, get 1 or 2!!!!

Well made and easy to use
I love coffee but every-time we go camping I have no easy way to make it. This is by far the simplest system I’ve found and it’s very well made. It’s metal and can be used with water directly on the fire, I used a jet boil and dumped the water in because it was easier. The coffee turned out great with no grinds. The unit has a simple coffee press system made of a heavy duty plastic. It’s very light weight and easy to pack. It would work great if you are hiking a long way. You first place the amount of coffee in the bottom, I did about 2 tbsp. Then I poured in boiling water (if you boil on fire you will want to boil the grounds with it). I then waited about 5 min then used the press. Coffee turned out perfect. Clean up was super easy. The screen usually is the worse part to clean but this one was easy.

Buy this is you love coffee.
The media could not be loaded. The most important thing to know about this Stanly French Press is to just simply buy it. It’s perfect for any setting either outside or inside use. I Love it. If you want a quality? This is the coffee make you need. If you add a clean food approved sponge to the mix or even a coffee filter you can filter out the coffee even more it’s honestly the best thing. This Stanly coffee maker does not only work for coffee but it works to make teas too. Know that the quality isn’t cheap either. It’s pure stainless steel and you’ll have no problem washing and cleaning. I’d say put it under fire by removing the sticker that’s under the coffee press. Put in heat/low heat after removing the sticker, I say put in fire to remove any type of stress from the steel or bacteria even if you washed or rinsed off. Great Coffee, Easy Cleanup
Quite impressed with this after trying it out. I filled water to the line as stated, heated the water, and added 1/2 cup of coffee grounds (I tried a 1/4 cup and 1/3 cup before going to 1/2 but they were too watery and I don't care for too strong of coffee). After pressing the screen in (5 minutes later), it didn't overspill and no coffee grinds came through. How flavorful! We were looking for something easy to clean, easy to make, and compact to store on our travels around the country (two of us). This works well. If I had anything negative to say, I wish they had the same thing for 40 ounces as we have Stanley 20 ounce mugs and this doesn't fill them up. We have to brew 1-1/2 pots. It's a little large for two 10-12 ounce ceramic mugs. The diameter is small as well and using it on a camp stove I can't turn the flame up to heat the water faster or the flame will go around the sides of the canister. Another reason the 40 ounce might help.Regardless, it's not a bad choice for a couple camping of hiking. If you put an insert at the bottom to protect the screen, you could store bagged coffee and a measuring cup inside for easy storage.
