I had to get a vaccine and man did my arm itch afterwards! It was driving me nuts! I am very reluctant to take Benadryl orally because it puts me to sleep. I cannot do that. I put this stuff on, and about 15 minutes later, I felt the itch diminish, then I didn't even notice it. It lasted for about 4 hours. This stuff is worth it!

This product is a lifesaver. I had some pretty challenging welts and swelling on my neck and face, not sure if plant or insect based. Deeply itchy, hot, so uncomfortable. This Benadryl has helped immensely, particularly after applying a few layers. I didn't experience any tackiness. It's great to use, I love the gel. It absorbs quickly. It's just ok. It probably works well for bug bites or something like that. I use it for a mild allergic reaction to a medication I have to inject weekly. It only works for a VERY short time. Like 30 min maybe?

Works for skin rashes, infections and eczema itching

My skin do not react well in hot weather and I get itchy, bumpy rash. Used aloe vera gels, cooling spray, hypochlorous, calamine, ice packs, takes lots of cooling showers - which probably dried my skin even further. All of which provides temporary relief before it comes back with a vengeance. I have eczema and try to avoid using steroid creams too much, but even that provides a transient effect and I tend to have residual pigmented patches on my skin. This summer has been particularly brutal, affecting my sleep, so in desperation bought this. Instant relief which was almost magical! No itching at all and the redness disappeared, with just one application. I applied it again after about 8 hours when the beginning of an itch started and before sleep, although I didn't actually need it. Huge bonus - the bumps also completely disappeared. That may also be due to a new soap I just bought. These 2 items are going to be my staple buy from now on!!
