This product is helping me heal in ways traditional medicine has failed to and I am glad for the internet and other reviews to have found this product since most Americans have never heard of mastic gum. I will say stick with it for a while even when you are feeling better or your symptoms may return. I had H pylori symptoms without being positive for H pylori but suffering terribly nonetheless. I truly believe there are still some bacterias and fungi they will not find with their tests for a variety of reasons. This helped me get rid of my burning stomach, pain, and digestive problems. I used this in conjunction with the pure mastic chewing gum from Chios. The chewing gum takes getting used to but if you are suffering it is worth it. I don’t mind it anymore. If you are suffering greatly, I suggest taking 2 herbs in the morning on an empty stomach, 2 before bed, and chewing the gum when you can, especially after meals. Good luck to anyone else suffering with stomach issues —- IBS, IBD, or anything else with no clear answers or relief. It is also shocking to know some of the heartburn meds have some concerning long term consequences. Mastic definitely helps with that too. Again, it works rather fast (a few days) but stick with it, give it time, and use it past when you are feeling better.

I am writing this review after the product became unavailable- I am hoping temporarily. Having to live without it and try another brand really made me appreciate how effective this mastic gum actually is for h. Pylori related problems.I found mastic gum after developing ulcers from H. Pylori- which took a very long time to properly diagnose. By the time I understood what was happening I was barely able to eat, was very underweight, and in near debilitating pain. I was put on a regimen of medications for the ulcers, which barely managed the symptoms, before learning about mastic gum.Once I started taking this I began to feel a little relief within a week- and by the end of a month I was beginning to be able to eat a normal diet again- including occasional dairy, spicy foods and acidic foods. Within two months- as long as I was taking the mastic it was like nothing had ever happened in the first place. The H. Pylori is gone, but the ulcers are still healing.I am now on the search for another mastic while this is out of stock- already tried one brand that was a complete dud- and the pain is surging back. Mastic has been nothing short of life-changing for me, and this company makes a very good product.

I suffer from chronic gastritis and I was on carafate and famotidine. Time passed taking these medications and still not much help. I continued with the agonizing pain despite of taking both and watching what I was eating. My stomach felt and looked very distended. So Thank God! I found this supplement and started taking it right away and as soon as the very next day I begin to feel better. My distention and pain had improved and continued to improve as time progressed. Now I feel so much better but still have to continue watching what I eat and sometimes I need to take famotidine. If I eat certain foods (mainly going out to eat)and stop taking the acid refucer, even though I take mastic gum everything, the pain and mild distention tends to slowly comeback. So does this supplement help? Yes, but still u need to be careful with what u eat. I went from not being able to eat much at home to being able to eat as long as I prepare it AT HOME!Update: I took this for 3 months and now I am a different person. I have improved to the point where I can eat anything at home( except lemon), including coffee and most of the time when I go out to eat I feel okay. I don’t need anymore famotidine!!!! Rarely feel stomach pain. Still I need to be careful and watch what I eat because I don’t want a relapse!☺️

I've been using this supplement for several years now.However, the product I received today isThe moment I opened it, there was a disgusting smell. ButI ate it while debating whether to eat it or not.I'm currently awake at 12:57am and can't fall asleep. My stomach is upset because my digestion is not complete.I felt nauseous, and I sweated so much while sleeping that my pajamas were all wet. This is my first time experiencing this phenomenon, so I'm embarrassed. I want to return it, but Amazon won't do it. If you want to buy this brand, think carefully before purchasing it.Please refer to the most recent one-star review. Chronic gastritis and functional dyspepsia for 5 years. Have also tried many natural treatments with my conventional medicines. DGL didn't help a lot but this mastic gum and FD Gard have been a great help. When you're desperate, you'll try anything and I'm glad I tried this. It's been the greatest progress I've made since diagnosis years ago. I take 1 pill between meals.I have no problems swallowing pills, but if you do, this is medium sized, but capsule form, so still quite easy to swallow. Nothing like horse-pilled magnesium!Wish it were a little cheaper, but decent price for over a month's supply.I enjoy the pine/wood smell of the pills and the belching etc. is very mild compared to other stomach treatmentsIf you are suffering from GERD/GORD/FD/GASTRITIS or other stomach ailment, I highly suggest you try this mastic gum.
