Emma Bridgewater TEAPOTS DESIGN Cream Cracker/Biscuit Tin - Long, Deep Rectangular Kitchen Tin

I have been trying to find a tin for our tea bags that was the perfect size. I have a socket shelf in my kitchen and wanted to sit this tin on top of it right next to my water boiler. I couldn't find anything that wasn't 4 inches deep. This tin works on the shelf when I turn it on its side which is about 3.5 inches. With the front facing out it works perfectly. It looks very pretty in my kitchen, and the design of tea pots on the tin make it a self explanatory container. I now have a convenient and attractive storage place for our tea bags.

I order the tin in April. It arrives and has a 1.5 inch crack/dent so I return it. I order another one in May and hope for better luck. It still comes with the same crack/dent. Did they just send back the bad one to me? You can still use the tin but when you order a new tin that expensive you just want it to be flawless

I thought it held 4 sleeves of crackers. I only holds 2.

This came crushed and it is not the size to store cream crackers.

Fit for purpose. Me personally I keep all my tablets in, store in the cupboard on its end, perfect!

Pros: Pretty, nicely finished and hinged lid.Cons: The dimensions listed are incorrect. The actual external height is 79mm, not 84mm (as on the specifications) and the internal height is 70mm. The items I wanted to fit inside are 72mm in height and I would not have bought it if the specifications were correct.Conclusion: If the actual dimensions suit your purpose, then I can’t see why anyone would not be pleased with the product.
