Now I didn't think there was place on this earth for a left handed cartridge pen !!!! I was wrong my left handed son had started calligraphy a while back and was complaining about the fountain pens not feeling how they should , after spending a small fortune on different ones , I found this , and apparently it's the most comfortable pen his ever used !!!!!!

Well made pen. It has quite a broad nib, perhaps too broad for some, but writes very smoothly. It is comfortable to use, with a rubber grip. Use it every day now.

I wanted a medium nib fountain pen so I bought this one, and I’m so glad I did as it’s perfect, it writes smooth and the ink flow is just amazing, I also bought the rollerball version so I have a set now.

Excellent grip, the nib is good, sturdy quality. Can’t fault it, especially because it takes standard cartridges.

Its very smooth and comfortable. The nib is on the higher side of M. People who love very bold writing should definitely go for it.

I got this pen and it worked perfectly for two weeks, then for some reason couldn't move ink from the cartridge to the nib as easily as it used to. To the point where it wouldn't produce any ink. I don't know if this specific pen is faulty or if this has happened to somebody else. I normally buy from this brand of pens and they last years before I get issues and have to replace them.

I’m left handed and this brand of fountain pen is one of the best I use. It glides without catching the paper and make writing left handed with a fountain pen a pleasure. 😀

This is my first fountain pen so my review here may be limited in value.The pen is a M+ ... not M. So, the ink comes out thicker and heavier than what you may expect. I'm fine with it. My penmanship is crude, and the wider flow of ink forces me to slow down a bit.The ink seems to flow very easily. It doesn't feel like a geyser or anything, but I have been avoiding overlapping strokes to keep the ink from leaking through my papers. I also have to learn to press more gently.The pen is thick and heavy. This suits me. I don't think I would be ready for a thin and light pen.One word of caution. The pen comes with the empty cartridge installed and the cartridge with ink is in the barrel. When I swapped cartridges to start writing, I think I inserted the spare empty cartridge upside down in the barrel. It was firmly stuck in there and was a pain to remove. I think the cartridges need to be installed so the tops of them touch. That makes sense. You don't want a full spare cartridge pointing downward. A leak from the exit of the cartridge would have the ink pour downward toward your hand.

This pen with a medium nib delivers lots of ink which makes its marks dark and smooth. You can write very fast and accurately. Makes writing with anything else feel like you are writing on sand paper. No comparison with entry level Schaefer, Pelican, Parker, Hong Dian or even my gold nib Waterman. Like the Twist, It’s inexpensive so if I lose it I’m not going to go nuts. The Pelican twist has a better ergonomic grip but this one is not too bad and the rubber allows you to grip it for hours with minimal fatigue. Also it’s very light as it is plastic so no fatigue there either. A drawback is that It is fat and doesn’t fit in the loop of my organizer. I don’t need to keep trying more fountain pens as this is it for me, this pen is perfect in my opinion. After months using, this is my favorite fountain pen period!

J'ai eu du mal à m'adapter à la forme en V tourné vers le bas de la partie du stylo que l'on tient, car je la trouve moins confortable qu'une forme arrondie et j'ai toujours l'impression que le stylo va tomber, ce qui m'oblige à le serrer plus fort que nécessaire. En revanche, la qualité et le confort d'écriture sont vraiment parfaits pour moi et le stylo glisse sur le papier avec une grande douceur. Je ne sais pas si c'est le fait que j'ai choisi un modèle "gaucher" adapté à mon cas, mais cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas autant apprécié d'écrire avec un stylo à plume. L'épaisseur de trait moyenne me convient aussi très bien. Excellent stylo et rapport qualité-prix très intéressant.

Der Schneider Ray hat mich, als leidenschaftlicher Füller Liebhaber äußerst positiv überrascht. Zugelegt hatte ich mir den sowie zwei andere Schulfüller, weil ich zufällig in eine Füller-Diskussion von Eltern geraten bin und ich mir selber davon ein Bild machen wollte.Als ich den Ray zum ersten Mal in die Hand nahm, kam mir ein "wouw" über die Lippen. Die Haptik und Ergonomie des Ray fühlte sich sprichwörtlich "wie maßgeschneidert" für meine Hand an. Der Ray liegt perfekt in meiner Hand und fordert kein Absetzen zur Korrektur des Griffs während des Schreibens ein. Manch Füller, die in der Klasse des so genannten "Fine Writing" spielen, gelingt das nicht. Da muss ich immer wieder mal das Schreiben unterbrechen, um die Füllerhaltung zu korrigieren. Ganz großer Pluspunkt!Die Feder des Ray schwebt nahezu übers Papier und gibt ein deutliches Feedback, was ich überhaupt nicht erwartet hätte. Es ist absolut kein Kratzen der Feder zu spüren. Egal auf welchem Papier! Selbst über Kopierpapier und Recyclingpapier setzt sich die Feder hinweg und lässt großzügige, ausschweifende Schriftzüge (z.B. Unterschriften) mit sanfter Leichtigkeit zu.Zu Shading und Linienvarianz ist die Feder natürlich nicht bereit. Aber das von einem Schulfüllfederhalter zu verlangen, wäre auch vermessen.Der Tintenfluss des Tintenleiters ist angenehm ausgewogen. Das Linienbild ist weder klitschenass, noch mager trocken. Das Anschreiben nach längerer Ruhezeit gelingt vom ersten Millimeter an, ohne den Füller anschütteln zu müssen.Hinzu kommt, dass im Ray Standard Tintenkonverter anstelle von Tintenpatronen benutzt werden können. So kann der Füller auch mit breiter Farbpallette hochwertiger Tinten geschrieben werden.Die Strichbreite ist von Herstellerseite der Federbreite "M" zugeordnet. Tatsächlich denke ich, dass die Strichbreite eher der Federbreite "B" zu zuordnen ist, was für einen Einstiegsfüller auch Sinn ergibt. Nur mit einem weichen, schwebenden Federschwung lassen sich erste, handschriftliche Erfahrungen entwickeln und gewöhnen.Das Design des Ray ist zielgruppenbedingt natürlich "poppig" aufgemacht. Aber es gibt Farbkombinationen die, die den Füller auch büro- und alltagstauglich für Erwachsene machen. In meiner Stiftablage hat er jedenfalls einen festen Platz bekommen.Sowohl als Füllfederhalter für den Einstieg, als auch für den alltäglichen Einsatz aller Altersgruppen hat der Schneider Ray von mir eine uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung.
