Lights4fun Set of 3 TruGlow® Battery LED Flameless Pillar Candles with Timer & Remote Real Ivory Wax

I bought the Distressed Gold Copper version of these candles for Christmas a couple of years ago and liked them so much that the following year I bought some orange ones. The colours that are available at any given time do vary and I notice that neither of the sets I have is currently available as I write this review. A key feature of these candles is that the casings of them are made with real wax which significantly adds to their authenticity. The actual “flames” have a nice warm slightly flickering glow which looks at its best in a warmly but not too brightly lit room; they look a bit less realistic in daylight or other brighter situations. They look very nice in their groups of three. Obviously, as with other LED candles the “flame” is not going to truly mimic the appearance of a real flame but these are definitely a pleasant alternative and have a warm and homely feel about them as part of Christmas décor. They also lack the ability to set the cat on fire which is definitely an unadvertised benefit! I’ve found that batteries last very well in these. They each take two AA batteries and work very well with rechargeables as well as standard alkaline ones. Battery life is claimed to be up to 600 hours in the listing which I would expect relates to decent quality alkaline batteries; they do genuinely last a very long time. Although I did not buy sets with remote controls, they do have a useful timer function which means that they remain lit for six hours when switched on and are then off for 18 hours before repeating the cycle. As I use them at Christmas I like them to be on for longer periods on those dark winter nights but the timer feature is certainly a “nice-to-have”. The Lights4fun brand seems to have quite a few interesting decorative items which are also worth having a look at. Top marks from me for this great product.

Not only do these candles look great but the battery life is fantastic. I’ve had these on pretty much all day long over the whole Christmas period and they’re still going strong. I haven’t bought a second set because they were so lovely. Well worth the money.

Really lovely candles. They really do look like real candles with the flame and flickering. Plus they are really white and not yellow/white colour. Slightly more expensive than many others but you get what you pay for. I would recommend.

Lovely colour, perfect for my newly decorated bedroom, remote control very handy during the night as useful as a night light when required, not too bright. Lights have a slight flicker & a wax realistic look to them. My only concern is the little screws are missing to hold the batteries safe from little hands which is why I dropped to 4 star.

Stunning candles. Very realistic

I really wanted some candles with a remote control, so that I didn’t have to climb a ladder to switch them on and off. These candles are perfect and look lovely in my gothic looking lantern. Candle batteries not included (2 x AA per candle), but remote does have one. I am going to test them out for a while and am pretty sure I’ll be buying more.

Look good but the remote does not work and one candle does not work on the timer mode. Disappointing.

I love these candles. They are very realistic and more importantly, they are safe. A great choice if you like the ambiance of candlelight but have to consider the safety of children and pets. They also have the convenience of a remote control with timer function.

Avevo già delle altre candele di un’altra marca. Comunque la base era sempre con le conchiglie, A differenza di quelle che ho già in queste le conchiglie sono rovesciate e secondo me hanno un brutto effetto; In più la fiamma è troppo finta essendo bianca e che non si muove. Non ha un effetto naturale come le altre.
