Very Easy Installation - Sturdy lifting Power
My 2009 Borrego Kia's rear lift supports were not raising the hatch as high as before; and I hit my head on it a few times. So I replaced the original lifts with these. It was very easy to do. (I watched a YouTube video on how to install them.) The lifts fit perfectly and they work like new.

What I Needed But Pricey.
This lift supports were exactly what I needed. My OEM lift supports on my 2009 Kia Borrego wore out and these fit perfectly. They were however a little pricey for what they are and the only reason I purchased these was due to the faster shipping with Amazon. All you need to do this job on your own is.Tools Required- Flat Head Screwdriver & pair of glovesTime- 10 - 15 minutes*This is a 2 person job.*Reason you need a second person is to hold the tailgate open while you replace the support lifts. Make sure to measure your original lifts before purchasing new lifts. I also highly recommend replacing both support lifts at the same time. Reason is because the tailgate hatch is very heavy and without replacing both it will be to heavy to support on one support lift alone.

Easy and fast to install!
Fantastic! Super fast and easy to install! They work perfectly and were a great price. My daughter and I put them in in five minutes or less (she held up the tailgate for me). Now I can use the tailgate without risking being cut in half. It makes me happy to see it glide up and hold!They don't come with instructions - I had intended to have them put in by the mechanic but was able to save myself $60 by just watching a YouTube video.

Great product, easy to install!
After 10 years in the Arizona heat, my 2009 Kia Borrego's lift gate supports finally died. I ordered these and they fit perfect. Just pry up the retainer clips on the old ones and the new ons pop right on. Took about 5 minutes total, but make sure to have a trusted person hold the gate up for you. Once install, the gate flies up so be mindful.
