Sliced Biltong 500g – Natural Beef Biltong by The Biltong Company – High in Protein & Keto Diet-Approved – Lean Biltong, Spiced Meat Snack Like Jerky

I bought this product as a treat, just to see if ’the real thing' was any good. As it happens, I am struggling not to devour the lot in one sitting. I will force myself to make it last two days, but that’s the best I can do. I am definitely a convert. Next I will have to check out the other varieties from this company, especially the chilli flavoured products as I do like my biltong to have a little kick. But it will have to be something that I only buy once a month, otherwise I will eat myself into debt in a matter of weeks.

This biltong has a nice salty flavour and a good overall taste. The texture is fine and the slices are consistent, but after trying a few different brands, I’ve found others at a similar price that I prefer. Still, it’s an acceptable option if you’re after a quick, ready to eat snack and like your biltong on the saltier side.

The delivery was spot on no delays, flavour of the biltong is very tasty.Value for money it is a bit expensive but when you take great flavour excellent Customer Service and delivery then it is great value for money.

I have tried MANY different brands of biltong in this country. This is as good as the best, and as addictive! As soon as my order arrived I opened one of the 250g bags, intending to have just a few pieces to taste, not having bought this brand before, and stopped only when I had scoffed THE WHOLE BAG, in one go!

Too expensive

It is tasty. Delivered in less then 48 hours from the time the order was placed. I do wish there was more coriander and non spicy spices but saying that once you start eating you can't stop. It is the first Biltong I have ordered so I am not sure how it compares with the others. I am very pleased with the 52.2g protein content, 1.7g fat, and 2.6g carbohydrates. The salt was 4.4g...per 100g serving that is. I had bought it as a snack for when kids sit and study and it has finished rather quickly.

Nice product you get a fair amount for your money also. I am not an expert this is my first online purchase of Biltong but it was a very nice flavour I would say slightly peppery for my pallet but I would buy again for Sho!!!

This is bland tasting, hardly any coriander taste(maybe they use out of date coriander seeds), cut into thick chuncks. It is chewy, it is like eating animal fascia, implying cheap beef. Premium top side beef you say??? yeah right... When I lived in Reading, there was an South African shop, the lady used to source the best biltong in my opinion. You could even get Kudo Biltong, which was very tasty and very lean. The flavor and seasoning was just on point When I taste this stuff I get a wtf moment. Your Bilton Sticks are also bland. The only good thing about the sticks is they are not dry, but same issue with chewiness Want to know how proper Biltong taste, try "The Biltong Man". Biltong made for Myprotein is also nice, had many orders over last 3 years Learn how to properly flavor biltong.
