This is all you need to know: 1) It’s super easy to put up and take down so you can move it to other doors or walkways, anytime necessary. 2) It’s tall so your child can’t throw toys over to the other side. 3) You’ll only need one hand to open. 4) It is impossible for your child to pinch his or her fingers, it’s not physically possible.

So easy to assemble, no holes or screwing needed. Super durable - my strangely strong toddler can’t budge it! The door in it is awesome and also stays open when not in use. Perfect!

Easy and quick to install. The door swings both ways and stays open both ways if desired. My doorway was 28 inches across and fit perfectly, even with baby gate doorway protectors.

Have been through 3 of these types of gates. Two of those were Regalo Easy Step gates. The Regalo gates are trashy compared to this thing (specifically the frame and the hardware that presses the gate into place). The frame on the Dreambaby is HEAVY, and the hardware to attach the the wall is thicker than the Regalo by at least 25% in diameter. The Dreambaby comes with VHB taped mounting circles that you can tape to the wall to prevent kids/dogs pushing and slipping the gate out of place (excellent feature). The Regalo latch mechanism has a larger "grasp" contact area on the latch where as the Dreambaby lifts and swings out of the way with a thumb pull to allow you to actually pull the gate up to unlock. I like the Regalo lock, but this has stood up well to a 50 lb kid. It's just way better than the Regalo.

We purchased this tall gate to restrict our pets from accessing certain areas of the house. They work great and have withstood dogs pushing against them. The height prevents dogs from jumping over them.

I've got three of the dream baby gates in my house and I like them because they seem sturdy and dont feel cheap. The longest is blocking a 10 foot opening.
