I bought this figure as photo prop, and I will keep it for that purpose. It would also look perfect on a birthday cake. The figure is a good representation of Blue Fairy and looks like what you see in the photos, except for the fact that it leans to the side making her look more like Tower of Pisa Fairy.. For the price, I expected it to stand straight; the plug or core piece in the bottom of the figure is not level, causing Blue Fairy to stand as if she had a few too many cocktails. The only two ways to make a correction are to either: 1) place putty on the bottom of the short side to level it; or 2) file down the bottom of the longer side which might create scratches and make matters worse. I chose option 1 which works great for my purpose. If you are using it for a cake decoration, you can resolve the issue with a bit of extra frosting on the short side of the figure. However, if you're a big Pinocchio fan and/or you love Blue Fairy, you'll want to use museum putty that's sold at most hardware stores. Perhaps my figure is just defective, and others may not have the same problem. Even if the figure were not flawed, it was a bit pricey for what you get. I think a fairer price would have been about $10.00. If you shop elsewhere, you will likely pay more than I ($22.00 with tax).
