£1 Coin Holder,Coin Tube,One Pound

Does the job, but not as good as my old type pound holder. I feel the leather covering in a short time will come away as the top edge is not sealed like the bottom edge. My old type has both edges sealed in and it has been brilliant.20/11/2017 update.This thing gets worse. The apparent brass items are not brass. They are plastic with a brass coloured covering. With the movement of the new £1 coins the brass flashing comes off. I definitely would not recomend this item to be purchased. It is a very cheap item. One of the worst purchasesI have ever made. If I could find a way to reduce the stars down to1I would. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Had to upgrade my existing pound coin holder as it didn't accept the new pound coin. This one does fit new and old and works as expected. Also recieved the item a day before expected delivery.

I needed some £1 coin holders for the coins for a car park I often use. This does the job well and holds 12+ £1 coins. I think more would go in but do not want to break the spring. It is definitely better than having 48 loose £1 coins in the glove compartment!

This has got to be one of the worst buys I have ever made. I was not expecting a gold plated item but I was expecting a unit that was not already falling apart. The cheap plastic tube is surrounded with an imitation leather sheath which is not fitted properly and has one end lifting and unglued. The only thing that could be said for it is that it does take the new £1 coins.

This product looks as illustrated, however, I was very disappointed with the quality of the leather covering wrapped around the tube. The leather did not quite meet and therefore made it very tempting for restless fingers to peal it off. The spring mechanism works ok and I have decided to keep this item for my own use instead of giving it to my grandson as I feel it would not last long in his use. If the leather covering cannot be improved, it would be better left off altogether.

Not as good a quality as my original £1 coin holder and is a bit bulkier, but it does the job and the new £1 coin fits in it quite well.Now all I need is the new pound coins to fill it!

As it's cheap and does hold the £1 coins I'll give it 2 stars.It is however very poorly made - the factory it came from clearly has no concept of quality control.I've got it in my car to hold some parking money - for this it's fine.

Does the job, fits new £1 coins, and is neat, space-efficient and convenient for bus or parking change and trolley quids. Coins are held securely, but easy to release as required.Feels lightweight and plasticky, but I expected that. I'd pay a bit more for a nicer one of a similar design concept, if such a thing existed, but this is fine.
