Nice, bright, evenly distributed beam. A must have for trail riding!
This made a world of difference on my Magicshine headlight. Instead of a bright center spot beam, I now have a bright evenly distributed wide angle light. I was concerned that it would dim the light too much, but it doesn't. Makes it much easier to see the sides of the road/trail now at night. For the price, you have to try it!

... lens just the other day and I was very happy with it
I used this wide angle lens just the other day and I was very happy with it. The lens takes your "spot" like light and makes it wider and removes some of the wasted high and low parts of the light. It does what it says it will and my ride home was much brighter than before I used this lens.

Wides the beam.
It dims the light a little. But it wides the beam out. It great for showing more of the path and it also help show pot holes.
