I’ve been using this toaster for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. It toasts my bread evenly every time, whether it’s thick artisanal slices or thinner sandwich bread. First the similarity between this 40’dollar unit and the 70 ‘ dollar one is almost identical. The 70$ one is a Lofter . Not available anymore last I checked which is good but it does have cool looks like and old bus from the 40-50’s or is it 60’s ? lol 😂Issues with the lofter is the long brace that holds the toast . Getting a thicker piece of bread like NY Bagles in there which are tad wide sometimes binds a bit but not bad. What happens is the doing 4 slices there’s no spring support on back side of the lift rack that holds the toast . After a bit they get bent down then you have dig out your toast . Bending back up is a temporary fix . Apparently after a few times the lift racks get weak and that’s the end of that .So far no issues with the new one other then toasting evenness . Heats wires not uniform along the plates .some uneven toasting . The Lofter was worse . How hard is it make a toaster toast evenly? lol 😆What I like about the Lofter was the end controls you can put the unit anywhere .This unit not so much for me it’s I have it placed to the right of the stove . I prefer it to sit along the counter wall front to back but I’d have move to the right of stove to have access to the controls which I don’t like because it’s just farther away in the sense of convenience.I seem to have the knob turned to at least 4 to get some breads to toast to the level I like sometimes it’s needs more toasting . Not tested it past that point yet . I don’t use the warming rack Guy thing I guess lolThe knob definitely needs a white dot on it .I guess we could get a paint pen or little dot sticker to put on it help see it better or any other method you might like to use .Ok that’s it for the Eliite Gourmet ( Elite hahaha that kills me lol 😆) 😊 so three or 4 stars you pic !

I really liked this toaster. It has an elegant design in stainless steel and its size is ideal for any kitchen. The slots are wide, which allows you to toast both box bread and bagels without problems. In addition, the illuminated buttons make it easy to use, and the adjustment of toast levels allows you to get the perfect point. The crumb tray is practical for cleaning. So far, it has worked very well and I am satisfied with the purchase.

This is a slim line 4 slice toaster. Love the warming adjunct that pops up over the elements. Built solid and makes great toast ,its pretty even on that function without un-toasted areas of your bread. My last toaster did that and it was a pain in the behind.I like the illuminated back lit function buttons and the only thing I did to make this unit perfect was applied a small dot on the dial for the darkness or lightness of the toasts shade. Other wise that small caveat was easily rendered with a little bit of white out . Now i can see where the dial and the shade of the toast can be set at .It has a nice size & easily removed crumb tray as well. For the bang for the buck deals this one to me was excellent . I like the brushed SS as it doesnt make finger prints that easily and are easily removed as well ......... Great unit I would not hesitate to buy again ........

This is a dream-toaster. I LOVE IT! -- It has a tiny, super-handy, pop-up rack for rolls & bagels. I use it all the time! It toasts or heats the bread items perfectly. -- The toaster itself is superb, with various settings that allow bread to toast to various degrees. There is a pull-out, crumb tray at the bottom; also super-easy to take out, wipe or dump, & re-insert. (takes 3 seconds) I've never had a toaster that provided a way for crumbs to be eliminated; let alone easily & rapidly! -- I highly recommend READING the instruction booklet. This toaster has many efficient features & helpful, personal adaptations that customers could be unaware of; if not taking the time to inform themselves of care & use of the product. -- I have been DELIGHTED with my toaster. It would make an EXCELLENT GIFT!
