5-Rung LadderRack Quilt Ladder Display Stand (American English, 24" Width)

We use this rack for blankets in the bedroom, and we put them on and take them off frequently - so ours is not a static piece for show. The rack is made of high quality materials and it has a beautiful, smooth finish. It arrives well packaged and well organized, with clear instructions for assembly, which I found to be easy and enjoyable. I appreciate that the materials sent with it include optional small rubberized surfaces to stick onto the feet of the LadderRack where it meets the floor and/or the wall, for secure stability. A little goes a long way, with those, so they are not visible when it is set up. We have them on both ends (wall and floor), and they keep the rack reliably in place, even on smooth hard-wood flooring. It is also quite roomy - we use it for a large duvet as well as blankets and throws. Of course you have to fold them and tuck them onto the rungs, but the rungs are spaced far enough apart that it is very easy to do. And if you are half-asleep in the middle of the night, you don't have to fold but can simply lay a blanket on top of it all & go back to bed. As another reviewer noted, it is great as a space-saver to keep blankets handy near where you want them. Finally--and importantly, for me--when I was shopping for a blanket rack, I was dismayed by the number of racks out there that are designed to look "folksy," with carved hearts and curlicues... Not our style. The simple lines of Briick's LadderRack make it appropriate for many kinds of decor, not only the country farmhouse look. We love how it fits in with our place. On a note not related to the rack itself: although the delivery of ours was delayed a bit by our *local* delivery agent, in that experience I learned that this seller offers EXCELLENT customer service - highly responsive and helpful. I highly recommend both this seller and the high-quality products he makes!

I bought this for my mom and she loves it! She and I put it together in about 25 minutes. The instructions were clear and concise. It is good quality without chips or scratches. It was packaged well.I think this will be treasured for a long time. I would recommend to friends and family. This quilt ladder is a quality piece of furniture. The smooth, handsome wood will not snag quilts or other items to be displayed and the rungs are angled slightly to allow for better hanging of these items. I chose the American English finish and it goes beautifully with the cherry and mahogany furniture in my bedroom. I placed two king size Amish quilts which are rather bulky on the second and fourth rungs and then hung smaller coordinating quilts on the alternate rungs. It took a little refolding to get everything properly sized to the space available, but I'm very pleased with the final result. I have a rather huge collection of quilts gathered over 40+ years and am always looking for ways to display them. I have three traditional quilt racks covered with quilts and I also display quilts throughout my home on beds, walls, doors, tables, counters, sofas, chairs, and railings. Some of my quilts stay in position for years while others change with the seasons and holidays. I am very glad I found this fine display ladder to help me show off some of my collection in a very space efficient way. I would not hesitate to purchase more of these ladders if only I had the space for them.

Overall, very good. However, the assembly instructions could be improved. Please see IKEA for how to create good assembly instructions.

Beautiful wood and workmanship! My only concern is it must be leaned at quite an angle or it will buckle at the hinge. I am thinking of putting a hook and eye that I can secure the hinge to ensure that it does not buckle and fold when I do not want it to.

First, know that when you get the notice of shipping it likely has not actually shipped. The sellers say it takes several weeks and it does. They often make them as ordered. Good news: It's worth the wait. If you have quilts you want to display, this is a nice option. It's not a ladder at all. It's a quilt rack that folds up like a ladder. Display quilt racks for the home have been around for as long as there have been quilts. Old ones are charming antiques, some costing $$$$. A few of these new hand-made LadderRacks will be around in 100 years or more and they'll be charming antiques then. Now, they're charming examples of well-crafted custom-made specialty furniture. Final tip: When you are assembling read the directions carefully and trust them to save time.

Exactly what I've been looking for for my mother's hand-stitched quilt. We had been displaying by hanging from a rod but it took up the entire wall and it was time to re-do this room and make some wall space for her other crafts. Perfect!

This ladder rack is beautiful and well made. The American English finish is so rich looking and the burnished brass hinges and side hooks are good quality also. Easy to put together with easy instructions. It's light weight and will be great to display my quilts for craft shows. It was delivered much sooner than the estimated delivery date. When not using it for craft shows I will be putting my own quilts on it. I would definitely recommend it to display your quilts.
