The perspective story’s of soldiers on the front line’
I buy these books to read about and try to understand what it was like to be in the SS. The majority were soldiers on the front lines supporting the Army but the remainder were NAZI through and through. a good book for reference purposes

Not a great read
Not a great read but where some of The pictures have been hidden many with unit insignia attached is amazing and from that point of view it was worth buying.

A pictorial record on the Eastern Front
Photographs of action, taken in the main by German photographers, on the Russian front during WW2 are rare enough. Those dedicated to the Waffen SS are perhaps rarer still, an interesting look at some of those who fought like demons against staggering odds during the advance and long retreat.

Important history books.
The images of war series of books are a brilliant study of the Second World War. They let the pictures tell the story which for me makes them ideal for my hobby of building AFV’s and other military vehicles with some kind of accuracy. But all the pictures are black and white so a couple of good reference books relating to camouflage and general colours are necessary.I have eleven books of this series and I can honestly say I am not disappointed with any of them.My advice is to buy and enjoy.Happy Xmas to all and a happy new year, and above all STAY SAFE.
